It was a busy day at U.A., with Class 1-A training hard in preparation for their upcoming mock battles. The sun streamed through the windows of the training room, casting warm rays over everyone as they pushed their limits. You were practicing your flight skills, your ember wings flaring out behind you, casting a gentle glow around the room.

As you soared through the air, you spotted Bakugo on the ground, strategizing with Kirishima and Kaminari. He was in his element, barking orders and pushing his classmates to do better. It was his usual intense self, and you admired his passion. But today, there was something different in the air—a buzz of anticipation that you couldn't quite place.

As you glided back down, you lost your footing momentarily and stumbled, catching yourself just in time. The training room erupted in laughter, but you brushed it off, focusing on Bakugo, who had been watching the whole scene unfold.

To your surprise, instead of rolling his eyes or yelling at you to get it together, Bakugo walked over. His expression was serious, but there was a flicker of something softer in his eyes. "What are you standing around for?" he barked, but there was an underlying gentleness in his voice. "You need to focus more."

You blinked at him, a mix of confusion and warmth flooding through you. "I am focusing, Bakugo!" you retorted, a bit more defensively than you intended, but your heart was still fluttering from the unexpected softness in his tone.

Mina, who had been spectating nearby, noticed the change in atmosphere and smirked to herself, her eyes darting between you and Bakugo. She had seen your feather glow and was all too aware of what it meant. But for now, she chose to remain silent, enjoying the moment and the tension that hung in the air.
