Natsu's POV

I woke up happy. But not happy (if that makes sense)

I shook Happy to wake him up.

"Happyyyyy!! Wake up!" I half yelled as I shook him.

"Aye sir.. I'd love another fish" he said half asleep. "Happy!! Carla is going on a date with Lily!" I lied trying to wake him.

As soon as I said that Happy shot up. "Where is he! Where's Lily! I'll knock some sense into that bobble head! Carlaaaaaaaaa!" He yelled punching the air.

I chuckled. "It's ok Happy. Carla's not going on a date with Lily." I reassured.

Happy pouted at me. "Your a meanie Natsu! Karma will get you!" He scolded.

I just laughed. "I have to get ready for my da- I mean I have to get ready to meet up with a friend." I lied again. I lied because if I told happy about the date he would've said. You liiiike herr.

"Let me sleeeeeeep!" He groaned.

I grabbed my scarf and wrapped it around my neck. I then grabbed my bag and put it over my shoulder. "Well, I'm heading to Lucy's house." I said.

Happy jumped out of bed and ran towards me. "Let's go!" He exclaimed as he ran out the door.

I chuckled and ran after him. "Wait up!" I yelled.

A little later we got to Lucy's house and I jumped through the window over her bed.

"I'm her lu-" I started.

I looked down and saw Lucy still asleep in bed.

I kneeled down by the bed and looked at her. 'She's cute when she sleeps..' I thought to myself.

A strand of hair was covering her face and I put it behind her ear. Her blonde hair was silky and smooth.

"You liiiiiike herrr" I hear happy say.

"OH CRAP!! Happy I forgot you were here!!" I yelled a bit surprised. I covered my mouth and looked over at Lucy.

Her eyes shot open revealing her chocolate brown orbs.

"N-natsu?" She asked half awake.

'Crap crap crap crap' I thought to myself. 'Act natural'

I grabbed a coat rack and put it infront of me, then I struck a pose one hand on my hip and the other on my head.

Next thing I know I heard bursting out laughter. I looked out from behind the coat rack and saw Lucy and Happy practically rolling on the floor in laughter.

"Natsu you..you..look..ridiculous!" Lucy said in between breaths.

"Wow..thanks" I said sarcastically.

Lucy looked at me closer and her eyes widened a bit.

"Natsu.. Why are you wearing a vest?" She asked looking confused.

"oh, right. I came here to ask if you could help me get ready for my date with Lis" I said quietly so Happy couldn't hear, with a small grin.

Lucy looked down. "Oh.. Right.." She sighed.
