los angeles, united states.

seventeen was now back to the united states in los angeles to perform, the arena was packed with thousands of fans, their voices blending into a single, powerful wave of sound. pink and white light sticks lit up the dark, shimmering like stars as seventeen performed on stage. the energy was electric, bouncing off the walls and running through every person in the crowd.

on stage, the members of seventeen were giving it their all, their synchronized choreography sharp and effortless. but it was more than just the flawless moves— it was the way they connected with the fans, the way their smiles and glances reached out into the audience, making each fan feel special.

tadao had always been particularly good at that. his eyes scanned the crowd as he danced, picking out individual faces, pointing, waving, sending hearts. every time he spotted someone holding his fan sign or wearing a shirt with his name on it, his grin would grow wider, and he’d make sure to send them a little extra love. it was these moments that made his connection with the fans feel so personal, like he wasn’t just another idol on stage but someone who truly cared about each and every one of them.

during a brief break between songs, he made his way to the front of the stage, crouching down to get closer to the fans. the crowd surged forward, hands reaching out to him, phones up, capturing every moment. tadao smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners, as he reached out, gently brushing his fingers against the fans’ hands.

"you guys having fun?" he called out, his voice breathless but full of energy. the crowd roared in response, and he laughed, the sound light and full of warmth.

"we love you, tadao!" a carat shouted from the front row, their voice clear even over the noise.

"i love you too!" he called back on his mic, making a heart with his hands, and the crowd erupted into cheers again.

wonwoo came up beside him, draping an arm over tadao’s shoulder, grinning at the fans. "you're spoiling them dao," he teased, though his own eyes sparkled with affection.

"they deserve it," tadao shot back playfully, and the fans screamed louder, as if to agree.

he continued interacting with them, sharing little moments, exchanging smiles. to him, these interactions were just as important as the performances. this was why they did what they did — for the fans, for the connection, for the love they gave and received.

as the next song began, tadao stood up, giving one last wave before rejoining the group. "hit" was up next, and the energy in the venue soared even higher. the members moved into position, their bodies already in sync as the beat started pulsing through the air.

the crowd chanted along with them, singing every word, their voices merging with the music. tadao felt alive, his heart pounding in rhythm with the song, his body moving effortlessly with the choreography. he glanced out at the fans again, feeling that rush of joy he always felt when performing — when they were all together, seventeen and carats, like one huge family.
