title is in French ;)

Rody starts calling Manon as he has successfully raised some money to take her out. He waits for her to pick up for a moment before she picks up.

"Hello?"

She says into the phone. Rody pauses for a moment before talking into the phone.

"Hey! It's uh me! Manon! Rody? Yeah. I uhm. Saved up some money to take you out! That's what you wanted, right? I finally saved up some money! So, I was wondering.. if.."

"Ah... Rody..."

Rody jumps up slightly as he hears Manon.
"I... would like to. But I  - already moved on." She says as Rody keeps the telephone up to his ear in the phone booth. He presses his head against the glass as he thinks for a moment.

"Oh."

He mumbles.

"Oh, ok... then. Then, I'll see you. Another time."

Rody says, and Manon pauses for a moment. Rody can hear her on the other side, mumbling some things before sighing.

"Bye, Rody."

Manon says before hanging up. Rody stands there for a moment, listening to the line.

He puts the telephone back on the thing and walks out of the phone booth. He sighs as he stands there for a moment, staring at the ground. He starts walking slowly.

Not towards his apartment. He walks back to the bistro and opens the door as Vincent stands near the cash register.

"Rody?"

He says as Rody looks up at him.

"She's moved on."

Rody says as he stares at Vincent. Vincent takes a moment to process the situation before speaking.

"Who moved on?" He asks as he stares at Rody with no idea what he was talking about.

"Manon."

He says as he stares down at the floor. Vincent doesn't know how to react, but he's slightly amused. He stands there for a moment and then sighs.
"You want a hug or some - "
Vincent begins before Rody dives into his arms. Vincent stares at the top of Rodys head as he sighs.

(Yes, i know rody is taller than vincent, just like, think Rody bent down or something idk)

Vincent stands there as Rody hugged him.

"Can you let go now."

"You're not the best at comforting."

Rody responds to Vincent's comment, and Vincent sighs.

"Do you want your job back? Cause, you know."

"Yeah."

ok, time skip cuz I lowkey don't know what to do here

A few weeks had passed, and Rody seemed to have forgotten about Manon as he continued to wait tables and work at the Cash register.

Vincent stands in the back of the kitchen as he watches the chefs work. Every now and then, he stepped out to watch Rody. Vincent leaned against the back wall slightly as he watched the chefs work.

Rody wrote down people's orders on the notepad and ripped the paper off to leave it over at the window.
