When they had made it to New York, they took a cab to the Avengers Compound.

When they got there, there had to be 100 vehicles.

But, they continued with the quest and got out of the car.

When they had made it inside, there was a guy talking to another man. "I hope they go somewhere today, I hate this job." The man said to the other guy before turning back to the demigods who were at the counter.

"How can I help you." The man said rudely.

"We're here to talk to the Avengers." Luke said, earning a glare from Sage.

Sage looked at his tag that read 'Happy' That was his name? What happens in New York?

Sage raised an eyebrow at the man's name. "Happy? That's an interesting choice," she muttered under her breath, earning a small chuckle from Thalia.

"Seriously? Is that a joke?" Luke asked, trying to suppress his own laughter.

Happy leaned against the counter, arms crossed. "You'd be surprised what kind of names people get stuck with around here. Just tell me what you want before I start charging you for air."

"Right, uh, we're looking for the Avengers," Percy said, stepping forward. "We have a bit of an urgent situation involving a stolen artifact."

Happy's expression didn't change. "Great. And I'm a flying squirrel. What's the next line in your little comedy routine?"

Sage decided it was time to step in. "Look, we're here already. We need to talk to someone in charge—now."

"Fine," Happy said, rolling his eyes. "Let me guess, you're here to save the world or something?"

"Actually, we're here to save our world," Thalia corrected, her tone matter-of-fact. "But that's pretty much the same thing, I suppose."

Happy sighed, exasperated. "Right. Just take a seat over there. I'll see if they can squeeze you in between world-saving meetings."

As they settled into some surprisingly plush chairs, Luke leaned closer to Sage. "Do you think we'll even get to see them? Or are we just going to sit here and twiddle our thumbs?"

"Only one way to find out," Sage replied, glancing around the bustling compound. "But if they keep us waiting too long, I might just accidentally summon another lightning storm."

"Please don't," Percy interjected, half-joking. "I don't want to be on the receiving end of your family's wrath—again."

Sage smirked, but was cut off by the sound of a door opening. A girl with red hair came over.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"We're dem-"

"Percy!" Sage said

"Alex!" Percy said back, earning a glare

"We just want to talk, can we?" Sage asked

The women suddenly had her hands, with red looking powers pointed at her and Sage's head started to hurt

"Can you stop?" Sage asked, wincing slightly as she felt the pressure building in her temples.

The girl, clearly unfazed, lowered her hands slightly, but her gaze remained sharp. "You're not exactly being straightforward. Demigods? What does that even mean?"

Thalia stepped forward, her expression firm. "It means we're half-human, half-god. We're not here to fight; we're here to find the artifact that was stolen from Olympus."

The girl raised an eyebrow, her red hair catching the light. "And how do I know you're not just here to cause trouble? You know, like most people that come through those doors?"
