Author note:

I'm not very good at writing [please go hard on it, I need to learn more], but I liked the plot, and that's why I decided to publish this. Also because since Adrienette got together, all other ships have been dying...

So, there may be grammatical issues and punctuation errors, but feel free to correct them and feel free to drop ideas! I'll try my best to make each chapter long, but I'm pathetic at it. Sorry for that. I'll try to publish once two weeks.

Gentle reminder~ Marinette is not ladybug in this AU [ruins the other ships but whatever]. The book has a bit of kissing. But all characters in this story are aged up to 20, are in college, probably since I think 14/13 is a VERY VERY VERY young age to start a relationship with someone. One last thing, I can sometimes make absolutely zero sense. This author note has been long enough, so let's just get into the story.

Publishing schedule: 1st and 15th of each month [probably].

[Also, Happy Halloween, to those who celebrate!]

Enjoy! Love you all! >3

Marinette found herself atop the, one and only, iconic Eiffel tower, bathed in the soft, silvery glow of the Parisian night; the moon, that cast an ethereal luminescence, and the stars, that twinkled like diamonds spread across the canvas of the universe, roamed around in the huge night sky, along with floating glowing sparks emitted by the windows on the buildings around. The air felt pleasant as her hair rustled along her forehead and her shoulders; Her curious blue bell eyes filled with highlights, reflecting the heavenly view. That wasn't a sight she wasn't used to, but it certainly felt more pleasant.
Her curious bluebell eyes sparked with wonder as she turned around, and her gaze fell upon a tall, dark figure shrouded in shadows. They looked like a he based on their figure. Their silhouette was blurry. Therefore, she couldn't make out his face or their features. But that smile... it gave it all away. The soft light falling on the curve of his lips; Their cat ears; She recognized immediately, letting out a silent gasp. After all, how couldn't she recognize the owner of the most charismatic and charming smile, the one who has been triggering her sleep for months, and the one who stole her heart just by looking in her eyes?

Chat Noir walked towards her, each step being heard audibly, and she could finally see his gorgeous emerald eyes, his blonde hair flowing side to side. He came to a halt and bent forward to match her height and bring his mouth to her ear. Her face flushed with him tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She longed for his claws, tracing her skin so badly.

"Are you dreaming again, chérie?" He whispered, his voice husky and intimate, as she froze, feeling his hot breath fanning against her neck. Her face only got redder.

"M-M-Maybe...?" Her voice filled with half timidity, a little confusion, and a bit of disappointment after finding out all that was happening was just a dream. He chuckled briefly in a low tone, her heartbeats getting faster with every move he made. Their ears picked up on a nearby band playing violin.
He straightened his back, looking down at her, her head matching the height of his shoulders. She looked at him shyly, wondering what his next move would be like.

"May I?" A shiver went down her spine. He placed her hand in his gloved claw, leaned closer, inches left between them. Marinette hesitated, considering it'll be her first kiss. She slowly nodded, her eyes shut, not prepared but not wanting to disappoint him.
"O-o-oui..." She let out right before he leaned in.

But a stupid alarm interrupted the beautiful moment.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

The alarm shattered the serene atmosphere, jolting Marinette awake as she groaned and buried her face in her pillow, not wanting to get out and go to school. She instead wanted to keep daydreaming all day in her bed or sketch about the hero on her desk. Either way, she wanted to waste her time on something that had a 1 in 1.2 million chance to happen. But, she still got a shot, right? Right?
Marinette stretched, arching her back, as she yawned. She blindly reached for her phone on her cluttered study table, her eyes snapping open when she say the time: 6:29. Panic set in; school started in merely 31 minutes!

"Merde!"

~

"Bonjour, Maman!" Marinette greeted her mother while stuffing a croissant in her mouth and grabbing her bag, previously on the chair. After kissing her mom and dad goodbye, she sprinted out of the bakery.
There stood Adrien‐ on the elegant woody school gates of College François DuPont..
"Bonjour, Adrien!" She greeted, reaching where he was standing.

"Bonjour, Cupcake. Surprised you made it before first class." Adrien greeted back.
"Me too." They chuckled as student rushed past them.

"Did you study for uh... that algebra test...?" His hopeful gaze met Marinette's.
"Well, obviously... You didn't, did you?" She looked back at him, hoping he'd finally use his brain and answer the test honestly. Adrien's smile faltered, replaced by a nervous grimace. She facepalmed. "I should have known."
"Please, please, please help me." Adrien requested.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

"Merci! You're the best! This is why I call you cupcake! Considering you're so sweet and all~" Adrien hugged her arm. Marinette rolled her eyes.
"And this is why I call you an idiot."

Marinette reluctantly agrees to help Adrien cheat, but her conscience nags her. As they sit down for the test, Marinette whispers answers to Adrien, who frantically scribbles them down with a frantic haste.

They submit their answer sheets without any suspicion from Ms. Mendeliev, who accepted those. Afterward, they headed off to the bustling cafeteria, where they found Nino and Alya already waiting for them.

"Hey guys!" Adrien greeted the two, flashing his signature smile and taking a seat at their table.
"Hey, dude," Nino greeted back. "How'd the test go? It was brutal, honestly."

"Not for her." The blonde pointed at Marinette, who just rolled her eyes and smiled wryly.
"Piece of cake."
"Good for you! You have Marinette to help you cheat. She crushes those math tests every freaking time!" Nino argued.
"At least you guys get above sixty-five without my help. He'd be lost without me. I'm like his academic lifeline," Marinette teased Adrien. The couple eyed each other, exchanging knowing glances.

Alya leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper, as she tugged Nino's arm.
"Do you think there's something brewing between those two?" Alya smirked.
Nino's eyes sparkled with amusement. "I'd bet on it. They're adorable together."
Alya's eyes gleamed mischievously. "Scarabella should totally investigate. What do you think, babe?"
"Aren't we crossing the stalker territory?" Nino protested, raising an eyebrow.

Alya waved her hand dismissively. "Pfft. We're just facilitating their destiny. Or something, I guess?" Alya smiled nervously. "And then, maybe I can add someone to the team to uh... see his reaction? Our ship would totally sail, trust me." Nino smirked, thinking about the plan.

"Bet."

Nino and Alya got back to the table.
"What were you doing under there?" Marinette and Adrien giggled, glancing at each other, their minds thinking the same. Alya facepalmed.

After all their classes and their study session at the library, which was boring as shit, Marinette and Adrien walked down the stairs. Adrien's gaze drifted to his his bodyguard, who was already there to pick him up.

"I gotta run." Adrien looked back at Marinette. "See you tomorrow?"
"Or—" Marinette flicked his nose. "Maybe, you'd like to play video games at my place?" Marinette suggested.
Adrien's eyes lightened up. "Totally!"

Adrien waved goodbye and dashed towards his car. He opened the gate, glancing at Marinette. Marinette chuckled to herself, waving him goodbye.
"That idiot." She murmured to herself.

Her walk home was a short, pleasant stroll through the Seine River glinting in the distance, which only lasted for like 10 seconds.
