"So, how have you been?" I ask Emara, pretending not to notice the eye roll she threw my way.

Honestly, I am too happy to care!

I am seeing her after months, and the sheer joy of holding her so close to me that I can clearly see every hair of her spider-leg lashes is unbelievable.

Even her dark circles look adorable on her.

"Uh, great! Graduating, moving on, and living my best life you know." She replies nonchalantly.

I feel a squeeze in my chest at 'moving on' but seeing how cheery and confident she looks, it somehow makes me feel warm from inside.

"That's good to hear." I say, genuinely meaning it.

The girl I met at the party was a shy, timid fresher and now here she is, graduating with her fierce boldness.

"I feel so proud of you, Emara." I say, from the bottom of my beating heart.

"Listen, can I get my degree? Coz there is a line behind me and you have got like a hundred handshakes awaiting." She snaps at me and I glance behind her to see the line which I don't give a fuck about.

They can wait!

I waited fucking months for this moment, so a few extra minutes won't kill them.

"Of course." I force a smile, before reluctantly leaving her hand.

The moment I let go, my hands instantly mourn remembering the heavenly feeling of her soft touch.

They missed her too.

As I was about to hand her the degree, I observe a slight contrast between the two siblings. "You and Ethan both have different middle names?"

"Yeah, right Sherlock!" She taunts in a saucy tone.

I smile.

God! I love hearing her voice.

"So what does S stands for in your name?" And ask her with the curiosity of a cat.

There are so many things I don't know about her!

"It's Spaghetti.." She fires back with all her sass and I couldn't help but smirk like an idiot.

Right there! That's the Emara I fell for.

"Well then, you deserve it.." I hand her the degree, unable to hide my own grin, "Emara Spaghetti Stone."

She tries not to roll her eyes and turns towards the camera.

Once again we pose for a picture, but this time my chest tightens, because I know she is going to walk away from me now.

And I am not ready to let her go, even if I want to.
