Returning from school, Ishika threw her backpack onto the couch, sighing dramatically.
"Abey yaar, mumma ko kaise manaayege?" she groaned, a hint of frustration in her voice.
"Haa bey, woh toh day out pe jaane hi nahi degi," Aarushi added, her face scrunching up in annoyance.
Isha, leaning against the wall, glanced at Shanaya with an accusing look. "Sara Shanaya ke chakkar mein hua hai. Bas meri mummy se yehi baat karegi."
Aarushi chimed in quickly, "Meri bhi!" Both girls exchanged exaggerated looks of despair.

Shanaya, standing with her arms crossed, rolled her eyes. "Bhai bhai, ruko! Meri bhi mummy hai, abhi toh unse maine pucha bhi nahi! Tumlog kahan se aa gaye mere upar?" she snapped, a bit overwhelmed by the group pressure.
Meanwhile, Prachi, relaxing on the armrest of the sofa, chimed in coolly, "Mera toh sahi hai. Mai toh aram se Yuvi ke saath aaungi." She threw a smug smile at the group.
"Ha ha, bhai, maje hai tere," Isha and Aarushi said together, laughing as they sarcastically imitated her, sharing an amused look.
After lil chit chat other e girls left Ishika's place with their bag in their hands.

On the other side of town, Aarish stood in his room, fidgeting with his phone. He glanced over at his brother, Karan, who was busy on his laptop.
"Bhai, mummy se baat karo na. Yuvi ke saath day out pe jaana hai," Aarish asked, his voice hopeful but cautious.
Karan raised an eyebrow, not looking away from his screen. "Kon kon jaa raha hai?" he asked, typing away casually.
Aarish quickly listed, "Um... Mai, Yuvi, Rishi, Aayansh... aur... Ishika, Shanaya, Prachi, Aarushi, bas."

Karan paused, and a small smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. "Oh, Ishika. Priya ki behen..." he muttered under his breath.
"Kya?" Aarish asked, raising an eyebrow, confused by his brother's tone.
"Nahi, kuch nahi," Karan replied quickly, his smirk still lingering. "Toh, jaana hai?"
"Ha bhai! Mera matlab... Please!" Aarish practically pleaded, his hands coming together in a dramatic begging gesture.
Karan chuckled, shaking his head. "Ha ha, tu mera bhai hai. Teri wish mai nahi puri karunga toh kon karega?" he teased.
"Thank you bhai!" Aarish grinned, relief washing over him as he high-fived his brother.

Meanwhile, back at Ishika's place, she walked over to her sister, Priya, with puppy-dog eyes.
"Pri di, please bol na mummy se..." she started, her voice laced with desperation.
Priya, sitting on her bed, gave her a skeptical look. "Mai kuch nahi jaanti. Tujhe jaana hai, toh jaake bol mummy se," she said, not easily swayed.
"Yaarrr diiii, please please!" Ishika whined, exaggerating her misery. "Sab ja rahe hain! Shanaya, Aarushi, Prachi, Yuvi, Aayansh, Aarish, Rishi!" She rapidly listed off the names, her tone growing more pleading with each word.

Priya rolled her eyes, finally cracking a smile. "Chal, thik hai. Ja. Waise bhi, mummy Aarish ki mummy ko jaanti hai, toh kuch problem nahi hoga," she said, giving in with a sigh.
"Really?!" Ishika's face lit up like a lightbulb, bouncing with excitement.
"Haan haan, mai mummy se baat kar lungi, lekin koi bawaal ya lafda mat karna!" Priya warned, her eyebrows raised in a serious manner.
"Ha dii! Mai toh in sab cheezo se dur rehti hu!" Ishika exclaimed, unable to contain her happiness. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You're the best sister in the world!" she added, throwing her arms around Priya in a tight hug.

Just as the moment ended, a notification buzzed on Ishika’s phone. She pulled it out and read the message.
Prachi added Yuvraj in "Mentally Unstable" group
She giggled, and before she could respond, another notification appeared.
Yuvraj added Aarish, Aayansh, Rishi in "Mentally Unstable" group

The group chat was buzzing with messages:
Aarushi: "Bhai tum log ki mummy maan gayi?"

Isha: "Mera toh Pri di sambhal legi! 😎"

Yuvraj: "Mera aur Prachi ka bhi ho gaya! 🤓"

Aarish: "Mera bhi! Karan bhaiya dekh lege! 💀"

Rishi: "Mera bhi hogya bhai! 👍🏻"

Shanaya: "Humra nahi hua hai, deviyon aur sajano! 😭"
