Kiana staying with Satoshi

Kiana's pov

I got up, took a shower, got dressed, did my makeup, did my hair, and packed my bag for Satoshi's.

"Morning guys." I said smiling.
"Morning Kiana." Dad and Ayumi said in unison.
"Morning Seiko." I cooed to my fluffy kitty.
"Meow- food." She meowed.
"Here you go." I said pouring her cat food.
"Are you talking to a cat?" Dad asked.
"Don't judge me." I said.
"Ok then." He said handing me coffee.
"Thank you." I said before taking a drink of the coffee.
"So what do you plan on doing until tonight?" Ayumi asked.
"I don't know, maybe go to Naomi's." I said grabbing my purse.
"Ok be careful." Yoshiki said.
"Last time you said that I got suspended." I said grabbing a leash for Seiko.
"Not funny." He said as I put the leash on Seiko.
"Bye." I said leaving.

I was walking through the park to get to Naomi's house when Mayu stopped me.

"Hey Kiana." She said smiling.
"Oh hi Mayu." I said stopping.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"I was just taking Seiko for a walk." I said.
"Look I have to go, I'll see you later." She said running off.

I started walking again wondering what that was about not watching where I was going and ended up walking into someone.

"Oh my god are you ok?" They asked.
"I'm fine, I'm sorry for running into you." I said as Seiko started to run against his ankle.
"Its ok my name is Jake, is this your kitten?" He asked as I got up.
"Kiana, and yes her name is Seiko." I said picking her up.
"Would you like to hang out sometime?" He asked petting Seiko.
"Sure, do you want my number?" I asked.
"Sure, here." He said handing me his phone and I gave mine to him.

We gave each others phones back and I went to Naomi's.

"Hey Naomi." I said walking in.
"Hey Kiana." She said.
"Hey Seiko." I said noticing her.
"Hey Kiana." Seiko said smiling like an idiot.
"So who's the boy?" Naomi asked.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"The boy you ran into in the park." Seiko said.
"Oh his name is Jake." I said picking Seiko up.
"You have a boyfriend and getting a number from another guy." She asked.
"Calm down it's not like I kissed him." I said sitting down.
"So what's new?" Naomi asked.
"Nothing much just college." I said.
"Wait college but you're only seventeen." She said.
"At my old school I was in the nerd class." I said.
"What kind of colleges have you been looking at?" She asked.
"I've only found the best paramedic college in Japan, and I was accepted." I said smiling.
"Oh my god have you told Satoshi yet?" She asked.
"No, I was going to tell him over dinner tonight." I explained.

We spent the rest of the day talking and watching a few movies.

"I should head home." I said grabbing the leash.
"Ok but your kitten fell asleep." Seiko said as I put the leash in my purse and picked up the kitten.
"Bye guys I'll see you later." I said leaving.

Once I got home I grabbed my stuff, told Ayumi and Dad bye, and went to Satoshi's.

"Hi Satoshi." I said walking into the living room.
"Hey babe." He said getting up.
"Have you eaten yet?" I asked.
"Mom, dad, and Yuka did, I didn't want to eat without you." He said hugging me.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked.
"Whatever you want." He said.
"Ok, go to your room and relax while I cook." I said.
"You don't have to cook." He said grabbing my hand.
"Satoshi is everything ok?" I asked worried.
"Of course, why?" He asked.
"You're acting as if you know something." I explained.
"Look Naomi told me about Jake." He said.
"She did?" I asked nervous.
"Why did you give him your number?" He asked.
"Satoshi you don't have to worry about losing me to another guy, I love you Satoshi and only you.' I explained holding his hands.
"You promise?" She asked.
"Promise, plus I have some news I want to tell you over dinner." I said smiling.
"Ok call for me when you're done cooking." He said going up to his room.

I was trying to figure out what to make then I remembered he told me he loved his mom's chicken and dumplings but he has never had mine, so I made my chicken and dumplings.

"Satoshi dinner is ready." I said through his door.
"What'd you make?" He asked.
"Chicken and dumplings." I said.
"I love chicken and dumplings." He said as we ran down to the dining room.
"I made these all the time for my parents." I said sitting down.
"Oh my god, these are so good." He said taking a bite.
"I try." I giggled.
"So what was the news that you wanted to tell me?" He asked.
"Babe the other day I sent a letter to the best paramedic college in Japan." I said.
"And?" He asked.
"And I got a letter back that would tell me if I was accepted or not." I explained.
"What did it say?" He asked worried.
"I got accepted." I said smiling.
"Oh my god that is great, when do you go?" He asked.
"I don't know the letter didn't say." I said.
"I'm so happy for you." He said hugging me.
"That's Yoshiki, I'll be right back." I said going into the living room.

Hello.

Hi Kiana the college called and said that you have to go in four weeks.

Oh f-four weeks that is great.

Ok I'll call you tomorrow night.

Night.

"What'd he want?" Satoshi asked as I walked into the dining room.
"The college called." I said sitting down.
"When do you have to go?" He asked.
"In four weeks." I sighed.
"What, isn't that school like 2 hours away?" He asked.
"Yep they want me to go there and see if I like it there." I said getting up and grabbing my bag.
"Look, babe this is a chance of a lifetime, you can't skip this opportunity." He said.
"But going to the school means I have to leave you, I know that you are upset and hiding it, to keep me happy." I explained.
"Look I am upset about you leaving, but I want you to go." He said.
"I'm only seventeen, I didn't know what I was doing, I'm not ready for this." I said.
"Maybe you can tell them you'll come to the school when you're ready." He said.
"Maybe, I'm tired, I'm going to bed night." I said going into his room.
