The sky was clear, the moon was in full bloom. She was chatting with other stars. Then a star broke and started moving towards the earth and came down and landed on the beach of Lanka. At that time, it was the third quarter of the night. There was silence far away, only the sound of the waves was coming. A cool breeze came from the sea and descended on the beach. There were a lot of coconut trees and some houses. It seemed as if someone had made a picture with black colour on a blue board. She moves her body and spreads the water all around. She has been told that she has to transport someone to someone's place. She looked around. When she doesn't see anyone. She revolves around herself and one thumb-like thing who has two little wings also revolves with her. She waved her little hands to attract attention. She was carrying a small bag on her shoulder. Breeze knows who she is. She is a dream bearer. She met her after a long time.
Breeze said, 'Hi, how are you dear?'
The little dream bearer said, 'I am fine thanking you. What about you?'
She said, 'Well it's been a while since we met, haven't we? What's this time?'
The little dream bearer said, 'I have to go to Ravana's palace. Can you please help me?'
She said, 'Of course I will, it would be a pleasure for me, but Ravana's palace is on a mountain far away from here.'
The little dream bearer said, 'Okay, let's go straight to Ravana's palace.'
She asked, 'Are you in a hurry?'
The little dream bearer said, 'No, but please get me there before the third quarter of the night ends.'
She said, 'There are two ways to go there, we will pass through the mountains, it will be a lot of fun, what will you also miss, stay with me.'
Breeze spun herself, generated a speed and passed through a couple of fishermen's boats which were parked in the dark on the beach. She shakes some boats, tosses some empty bamboo baskets, blows the clothes lying on the ropes outside their house and enters their houses through the windows.
When the cat sitting on the window wakes up from its sleep and screams, the nearby dogs run towards it barking. The cows are mooing. A horse was sleeping outside a house with its eyes closed and mouth open. Seeing him, breeze gets mischievous and tickles his nose. As a result, the horse sneezes loudly and a lot of mucus from his nose rains down on the dog sleeping in front. The horse feels a little relieved but the dog gets upset and changes his place.
The dog gets irritated and says, 'Look ahead before you sneeze.'
The horse says, 'Sorry brother, I made a mistake.'
Both of them laugh with thrill and move ahead tossing people's utensils and belongings. In a house they see a small and cute child sleeping in the light of a big clay lamp. Breeze slowly touches his nose and waits for his reaction. The boy rubbed his nose with his little fingers, raised his legs and made a soft sound. Hearing the sound, his mother woke up and pulled him towards herself without opening her eyes. They both laughed.
At one place they found a girl lost in dreams. Her clothes had risen above her knees. They both look at each other. Breeze moves quickly and pulls down her clothes. Then they fly out of the room, blowing the curtains of the windows, and fly towards the forest.
They moved forward, blowing dry leaves, bending or breaking branches. Some animals stand on their feet when they hear the rustling of leaves, move their ears and try to see carefully in the dark. They cross the river by blowing the water high. Passes over houses and between fences. Flows fast on a straight road. Then slides down the slope. Passes through the standing crops. Collects the fragrant flowers lying on the ground and moves ahead. They flow up and down, right and left. Wherever they pass, they take something with them or leave something behind.
