Good morning everyone 🌞

With the help of Sana's documents, Sidharth was able to secure a studio apartment on rent. He couldn't afford to pay high rent. Hence the location and the size of the apartment was as per his pocket - shabby and tiny. It was a single space, with a kitchen, living and bed all fit in one place. The only place that had privacy was a tiny bathroom.

The owner was letting it out privately without involving brokers, hence it didn't really meet the normal letting out standards of the country but it was anytime better than having to sleep on the street or to stay at a place like John's. The previous tenant of the house had left the old bed and mattress which the owner said that Sidharth can either use it or if not needed, discard it outside on the nature strip. Sidharth gladly decided to keep it because he would be saved from buying the new bed.

Since the room was vacant they could move the very next day itself. On the day, Sidharth packed food before he left with Sana and the baby to their rented place. When they arrived, Sana scanned at the place where she would be living from now on.

"T..there is no seperate r..room. You and the baby can stay here.", Sidharth stuttered with his eyes fixed on the floor.

"Where would you stay?", she asked in a strict tone.

There was a moment of silence before he spoke again.

"I will be around.", he replied.

"On the street?", she asked firmly and he bit his upper lip.

"I.. I am habituated of st.. staying like that.", he answered.

"Huh! Of course!", Sana chuckled disappointed.

"What about mine and baby's safety? You are supposed to take responsibility, remember?", she asked.

He nodded his head still eyeing the floor.

"I don't want people like John attacking me or my baby again. You are staying here.", she ordered in a tone which he couldn't disobey. He nodded in agreement again.
