I just finished my homework from my family sciences class and was going to lay down but Kk bust open the door "Paige the girls are coming over tonight hope your okay with thattt" she left dragging the 'T' and slamming the door on her way out "crazy" I chuckled and see my phone flashing from a text 'Amani.Not_brown' posted. Of course I keep my notifications on that's my best friend... Anyways I start to walk in the bathroom to take a shower still not checking the post. Hopping in the water felt so nice as it stained my back. As I got out and changed I heard knocks on the door mocking a beat knowing it's Nika. "Knock knock" she said making everyone behind her laugh but I was focusing on who was beside her. My best friend since middle school Amani Brown #7 Hopkins senior point Guard. She looks up at me her smile fading seeing me "P" 'damn she's still as fine in high school' I thought "pb" 'God she just so goo- PAIGE" Azzi said looking at me with a blank stare "Huh- yeah, what" I said moving my eyes to them "can we come in?" I nod and move so the can come in.

"Stop staring creep" Amani says with a big grin moving to go sit down on the couch. As I sit down  following her but Nika quickly takes the last spot next to Ice making me sit down next to Amani. Nika looks at me with a grin and I glare at her cause who do you think you are to just- ugh. "I'm going live!" Kk says hopping up standing her phone up on a cup. I come closer to see people flooding in the live as fast as possible "Heyy guys" She yells making me cover my ears form it being 11 pm at night and she's screaming.

-Scroll down for more-As I  moved my head to take a glance at her she caught me and I quickly moved away "Try that again sweetie and watch what happens" she moved closer to my ear and I swiftly nodded my head as I can feel the tension rising. After the live ended the girl decided to stay over so I got up to go straighten up my room before heading to bed. Moving my pencils back to where they were I heard someone walk in "Hey sweetie" I hear turning my head to see Amani standing on my door frame "h-hi" my eyes falling head to toe on her "what are you doing" she said coming closer. My breath hitched as she still had that effect on me "jus- just cleaning then bed" I start straight forward "hm you know if you were going to stare make it a little smoother" moving her fingers on my chin pulling my head up to look at her "better" she said licking her lips. "I- I should head to bed" I said nervously "hm can I join?" She asks and I nod moving over from the middle to the left end of the bed.
I couldn't really go to sleep without realizing she was here in my bed. I let out a sigh and feel her turn over and wrap her hand around my waist and put her head on my shoulder as she plays with my sweatpants strings "what's wrong sweetie" she asks softly "Just can't sleep" I reply "here just close your eyes and relax this used to work in high school with you" she chuckles and grabs my hand and starts rubbing on my knuckles.
I let out my last slow sigh letting her know I was asleep and I rolled over with my hoodie and put my head in her chest as she rubbed my back.
