You and Matteo had been dating for 3 years but been engaged for over 2 years now and with his work getting in the way and with you doing your own thing with your job even though he told you that you didn't need one you decided to prank him since he was taking too long in your opinion

So, one day when he had his family over but was in a room with just his brothers but made sure his parents were in ear shot you decided to walk into the room he was in holding the engagement ring in your hand

"hello mi amour how can I help you" he spoke out while pulling you into his lap but you got off of him instantly making him and his brothers confused since they were used to this behavior to you both

"I don't want it anymore" you spoke out as you set the engagement ring on the table next to his whiskey making him and his family look at you both in shock "I want the real thing" you added watching him as you took a step back to make some distance between you both

"this is the real thing I proposed to you with this" he spoke out annoyed as he stood up from his seat "put it on your finger and stop with this nonsense" he added glaring up at you as he held out the ring for you to take off him

"you can't force her to marry you Matteo" Demetri spoke out from the corner just as the parents came in but you were more focused on him then the rest of the family

"you can shut up Demetri I've done nothing to her to account this behavior" he replied annoyed as he turned to glare at him for a few moments before back to you

"what's going on?" his mother spoke out while you tried to hide your grin

"she doesn't want the ring anymore" Alfonso spoke out amused as he took a sip of his drink as they all watched the scene unfold "but I know she won't divorce him she loves him too much"

"no! I meant I want the upgrade" you spoke out calmly ignoring the people around you while you tapped the ring with your finger lightly

"you mean after we get married?" he spoke out confused his anger dropping immediately since he didn't know how this was going as he looked at the ring in his hand

"yeah like a set" you added after a bit looking up at him innocently "not just the engagement ring" you added your tone a bit softer as you looked between him and the ring

"I told you guys she wouldn't want to divorce him" Alfonso replied amused as he set his drink down

"what?" he replied confused but after a few moments of silence as he looked at the ring and you every so often

"so can we start looking for places to set a date?" you asked innocently as you looked up at him with innocent eyes that you could swear had a bit of a sparkle to them

"aww that's cute" his mother spoke out as she leaned up against her husband while the rest made barfing sounds since you were being too lovey dovey making their mother hit one of them which made them all laugh at it

"yeah..." he replied as he refrained from getting a blush on his face "do you like your ring?" he asked after a bit inspecting the ring before looking up at you sweetly

"I love it I just want to be married" you spoke out with an innocent smile as you were holding back a chuckle just from the family alone as you took another small step back

"ok then let's do that" he chuckled after a bit as he kissed the top of your head "not put this back on" he added when you finally took the ring off him and put it back on before leaving the room while the rest but his parents laughed at him

"you are so whipped man" Demetri spoke out amused before laughing a bit
