It had been a week since the friend group settled in Japan, and it had been complete mayhem ever since their arrival. As if Coony and Nya hadn’t already stirred things up enough.
The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a warm orange glow through the expansive windows of the 'mansion.' Shadows flickered on the walls as some of them made their way down the stairs in search of breakfast.
Gremma was the first to stir and started whipping up a meal. She only prepared food for Coony and Nya, unsure of what the others preferred.
"Ah, just in time," she called over her shoulder to May, who was lounging at the kitchen island. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"Can I just have the butter chicken from last night? I’m not really feeling hungry," May replied.
Gremma moved around the table toward the fridge. "Sure, that works. I’ll heat it up in the microwave; just grab it when it’s ready, okay?" May nodded, too sleepy to respond further, and Gremma returned to her cooking.
Next to appear were Mahi and Nini. "When do your classes start? I want to see if we have any together," Mahi asked as she joined May at the island. "In about two weeks; we can check the schedule later," came the reply. "Sounds good."
"Nini?" Gremma called out. "Yes...?"
"Where are the other three?"
"Uh—Kiki is still asleep, and Kenz is in Nya's room; probably still snoozing too."
"Could you wake them up for me, please?"
"Why me?" Nini replied, a hint of apprehension in her voice. "Send May or someone else, anyone but me."
"Why should I be the one to get kicked and punched again?!" May shot back. "I woke them up yesterday; no way I'm doing it again."
Frustrated with their endless bickering, Gremma decided to take matters into her own hands. A few minutes later, everyone had made their way downstairs to join the others for breakfast.

remma stepped out to grab some groceries, with Nini eagerly following her, and the house was already in utter chaos.
Coons zoomed around on her decorated skateboard, weaving through the hallways, while May looked on in sheer amazement.
Meanwhile, Nya and Kenz were deep in discussion about the enlistment of the K-pop boy band Seventeen, while Kiki was fixated on Kenny, her gaze intense as she scrutinized every detail of the girl's face. Which were perfect by the way. Her words. Mahi had retreated to her room, declaring, "I can't stand you people."
The atmosphere was a whirlwind of activity and noise, so much so that they completely missed the doorbell ringing and the door swinging open to reveal a furious Gremma.
"What the fuck is going on here?" she exclaimed, her voice cutting through the chaos.
Suddenly, the room fell silent as Coons tumbled off her skateboard, May leaped to his feet, Kiki straightened up, and Nya and Kenny turned their heads slowly, all eyes on the woman whose frustration was palpable.
