I only noticed this after I ended the livestream, but the spine bled into the cover on both the front and back, and the cover image ended up being cut off. I didn't expect this at all, since I set the spine to the same line in KDP's template as when I ordered the proof copy, and double- and triple-checked that Meya's braid is within the white line (trim line) in the previewer.
My guess is the proof copy is printed in the US, and it is trimmed along the white line, while my commercial copy is printed in Japan, and trimmed along the red line. (I didn't order the author copy from the US because coupled with shipping cost and delivery date to Japan, it's not much cheaper than the commercial version). But that also doesn't explain why the spine bled so much, as if I used the wrong cover template, or the book's content somehow got thinner.
