"How long will you run away from me, sweetheart" I let out a deep breath, my finger curling around the silver strands necklace.
He ran his fingers over the necklace a wave of memories and emotions washed over him.
"This necklace says everything about her past", his mumbles to himself, his voice filled with regret.
He closed his eyes the memories of the past somehwere hurting him, it was a stab to his heart directly.
He let out a sigh, his heart heavy with frustration and guilt. "I wish I could tell her the truth" he said, aloud, his voice filled with anguish.
"She's soo blindly trusting of Mingyu, and I can't stand to see her being deceived and hurt"
He clenched his fists tightly, his body tense with anger and frustration. "But i can't tell her the truth, not right now. It's too risky and I don't want to cause her any more necessary than pain"
He muttered to himself,
"I have to protect her, even if it means keeping the truth from her little longer"
He leaned back against the railing, the cool air chilling his skin. "But how long can I keep this secret for?" He wondered aloud.
"How long can I continue to keep truth from her, knowing the damage it could cause it if comes out later?" His mind was filled with conflicting thoughts and emotions.
Each one vying for attention and leaving him feeling conflicted and uncertain.
He stood motionless for a moment the necklace still clutched tightly in his hand.
"I can't keep this secret forever"he whispered to himself, his voice filled with resignation. "Sooner or later, the truth will come out. I just hope that day when it does. It won't destroy everything"
He let out a heavy sigh, his thoughts swirling in his mind like a tempest. He knew he couldn't keep the truth about Mingyu forever, but he was afraid of consequences which be there after knowing the truth.
He stepped back into the bedroom, closing the window behind him. The room was dark and silent, the only sound was coming from bedside clock.
He walked over to the bed his mind still racing with thought and emotion.
He sat down on the edge of the bed the mattress dipping slightly under his weight. He took few deep breaths trying to calm his racing heart and clear his mind.
But the silence of the room only magnified his thoughts and emotions that were swirling in his head.
He lay back on the bed, his body tense and restless. "I can't sleep" he mumbled to himself.
"The nightmares keep coming over and over again. They always scares me, and I can't seem to shake off". His eyes were burning with fatigue. His thoughts shifted to his parents and the memories of their love and care flooded his mind.
"Mom, dad" he whispered into the darkness. "I miss you...I miss you soo much" his heart ached with deep sense of loss.
"Why just I can't forget and move on" he thought. "why do the nightmares have to keep coming back tormenting me every single night" he tossed and turned on his bed.
His body weary and tired, but his mind to restless to mind any peace.

He swallowed hard, the terror clear on his face
"Fine" he choked out, 'i'll tell you everything. Just get that thing away from my face"Mark held the glowing cigarette just inches from his face. "start talking" he demanded, smoke from his smoldering cigarette curling around him.
"Tell me everything you know about your dealings with y/n. Leave nothing out"
His eyes flickered from the fiery tip of the cigarette to Mark's steely gaze. "I'll tell you everything, please just get that thing away"
Mark withdrew the cigarette slightly from his face. "I'm listening" he said, his voice cold and detached. Mr shin took a trembling breath, gathering his thoughts before saying.
"It all Started few months ago" he began, voice wavering. "Y/n approached me with a business proposal"
Mr shin's voice grew steadier as he continued to recount the details of their business dealings. "She said she needed a partner to handle certain arrangements for her" he explained.
"In exchange, She offered a substantial cut of the profits. I agreed and we've been working together ever since"
Mr shin proceeded to explain specific of their deals, detailing how he had the logistics while y/n had been the mastermind behind it all.
He talked of their transactions, the profit they had made and people they had interacted with. Mark listened slightly his expression giving nothing away.
As Mr shin talked, Mark's face remained impassive, betraying no emotion. He seemed to be absorbing every word, mentally noting each detail.
When Mr shin finally fell silent, Mark spoke for the first time since he started speaking. "And where does y/n keep the money?" he asked, his voice a low growl.
Mr shin hesitated, fear flickering across his face once again. He knew this was dangerous territory; sharing this information could be mean death of his.
But the pressure of Mark's glare and knowledge that he was at mercy made him answer anyway.
He told mark Everything he knew about there y/n keep their money.
"She has hidden safe in her house, and I don't know much about it please don't ask me futher" his voice trembling.
In one swift motion, Mark pulled out his gun and pressed it against Mr shin's temple. A dark chuckle escaped his lips as he pulled the trigger without hesitation.
His body went limp, slumping over in the chair
Mark stood up casually, brushing off his impeccably suit."Thanks for the information Mr shin we had a lovely conversation"
Mark tucked his gun back into his belt, satisfaction etched on his features. He glanced at the lifeless body before him and smirked.
He turned on his heel and walked out of the room, leaving the body and the memories behind.
Mark turned a corner and walked into his office, one of his henchmen immediately appearing in the doorway.
"Boss?" the man asked, his voice respectful. "You needed something?"
"I'm expecting alot from you i hope you can satisfy me, will you?" Mark said his voice firm.
The man shifted nervously, sensing the subtle threat in Mark's words."Yes, boss" he replied, trying to keep his voice steady. "I won't disappoint you"
"Good," Mark said, his eyes flickering over the man. He could sense the fear in him, the need to please. It was always the same, the way his men would grovel at his feet. It was amusing, really.
"I need you to check out the information about Kim Jennie" Mark growled at her name.
The man's eyes widened slightly as Mark spoke. "Kim Jennie?" he repeated. "I've heard of her, she's not easy to get to. She's always surrounded by bodyguards, and her security is top-notch."
"I don't care about her security," Mark said, his voice cold. "I want you to gather all the information you can on her. Where she goes, who she associates with, weak points in her security, everything."
"Sure boss, you will get her each and every information without complaining" the man spoke with pride.
Mark's lips curled into a smirk as he looked at the man. "Good," he said. "Don't disappoint me. I'll be expecting a full report within a week. Do not fail me."
