A week later, Y/N found herself in a situation she never expected-captured. She sat bound to a chair in the dimly lit warehouse, cold concrete beneath her feet. Jungkook's presence filled the room before he even stepped into her line of sight.

He approached slowly, his hands in his pockets, his gaze never leaving hers. "I told you not to follow me, but you didn't listen. Now look where we are."

Y/N's jaw clenched. "What are you waiting for? Get it over with."

Jungkook's brow lifted slightly. "And what is 'it' exactly? Killing you? Torturing you?" He tilted his head, his lips curling. "No, Y/N. You're too interesting for that."

She scoffed, defiance burning in her chest. "Interesting? I'm your enemy."

"Enemies can be... useful," Jungkook said, stepping closer, crouching in front of her so their faces were level. "Or maybe, it's something else."

Y/N's heart pounded in her chest, his dark eyes pulling her in, making it harder to breathe. "You're sick," she spat. "You destroy lives."

Jungkook's smile faded. "Don't act like you're innocent. You're just like me. You think you can play the hero, but deep down, you enjoy this game as much as I do."

Her breath hitched. She hated how right he was. The thrill of chasing him, the adrenaline that came with being so close to danger-it was like an addiction she couldn't shake. And now, staring into his eyes, she realized just how dangerous that attraction had become.

Jungkook reached out, his fingers brushing against her jaw, tilting her head up to meet his gaze. "I see the way you look at me. You want me gone, but you also want something else, don't you?"

Y/N's pulse quickened, but she refused to give him the satisfaction of a response. She wasn't going to let him win.

But Jungkook, as always, seemed to know exactly what she was thinking.

He stood up, his presence looming over her. "You hate me now, Y/N. But that hate will turn into something darker. I've seen it before."

He walked away, leaving her bound and alone in the dark. But his words lingered, haunting her mind. He was right. The line between hate and desire was thinner than she'd ever realized, and Jungkook was determined to blur that line until she couldn't tell the difference.

And the worst part? She wasn't sure she wanted to stop him.
