! DISCLAMER:

#contains mention of suicide and some depressing thoughts.#

****************

This tragic incident recently occurred in India.

It is said that many people commit suicide because they are unable to fulfill their dreams and do not achieve what they want in life.

Let's focus specifically on youngsters preparing for competitive exams like NEET and JEE. Why do you think they commit suicide?

The common response we receive is that they were unable to crack the exam, leading to disappointment in their parents. Aur fir log Kya kahenge ,,,

Would anyone have guessed that a person who secured AIR 1 in NEET, one of the most competitive exams that's currently disrupting my life, would have such a fate? After being admitted to MAMC (Delhi) and completing his MBBS over five grueling years, he cleared his postgraduate exams and returned to MAMC for further studies. Yet, the outcome was tragic; he committed suicide. He was on the verge of opening his own hospital. Why, then, did this happen?

Indeed, we all ask the same question.

Why? ,

Why did he do that? He had everything a NEET aspirant could ever dream of, or so we thought. Perhaps he didn't have anything at all because one doesn't simply commit for fun.

The answer to our 'why' unfortunately goes with him. (as there was no suicide note left behind)

I hope he is at least happy now, because it's indeed true that he wasn't before on this earth. It feels terrible inside to see these cases rising every day. The medical field in India is quite chaotic at the moment. And even after all this, there are countless students—no, countless parents—who want their child to pursue a career in medicine and be a doctor cause Duniya accha kahegi .. can all these parents just pause for a moment and have you ever thought ki appke bacche ko kya karna hai?  (ever wondered what your child actually want to pursue?)

Okay, don't misunderstand me, but I bet that out of all the students pursuing a career in medicine, more than 80 percent are doing so because of their parents' wishes for them to become doctors.

Idk how many artists we have lost to build soul-less doctors.

I do hope that this sacrifice was worth it.

'''The only questions i have:

Is he happy there?

Did he have any regrets?

Was the sacrifice necessary?

WHAT NEWS ARTICLE TOLD.

"medical student from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) allegedly took his own life for unknown reasons"

"Gopal had spoken with Navdeep on Saturday evening and he was perfectly normal. He had not indicated anything that he was having any stress. He used to share everything with his parents. We are surprised at how he took such an extreme step"

One of the quotes i love:

[And its true]

'Every child deserves parents, but not all parents deserve a child.'
