Chapter Fifteen

Isabella's pov

Two Months later.

It has been two months since what happened in my bedroom with Angelo and he's done it a few times since. He does it when no one's been home or when everyone is asleep.
I was studying when I heard a knock on my door then my door opened. "Hey dad wants you to come to his office he says he wants to talk to you and it sounded important" Dante says as he walks up to me. I nod and got up closing my books and placing my pencil on my paper. I followed Dante up to dad's office. When we got to dad's office Dante knocked. We heard dad say come in so I opened the door. When I walked in I saw everyone there. I looked around and saw holes in the wall and glass everywhere. I looked at everyone. The boys plus dad looks like they were about to kill someone and mom looks like she's gonna break down crying. 

I walked over to the empty chair and sat down. "Dad what's going on?" "Honey I have some bad news. But before I do say anything I just want you to know nothing is ever gonna happen to you. Now I just got some news saying that some people helped Maria and her husband escape prison" When dad said that it felt like the whole world crashed down on me. Before I knew it someone had picked me up and placed me on the floor with someone behind me holding me back. "Shh It's okay. It's okay Bella. I won't let anything happen to you. You're safe bambina no one is ever gonna hurt you ever again." After a while my breathing started to slow down.

I Looked around and saw mom crying, dad, Marco and Tino looks like they are about to cry and Dante and Luca are crying while Marco hugs them. I looked behind me and saw Enzo looks at me with concern while holding back his tears. Dad came over to me and picked me up so I wrapped my legs around his waist while placing my face in his neck. Dad walks back over to his chair and sits down.  "I just want you to know that will ever happen to you ever. Now the next thing I want you to know." Dad says while rubbing my back. I looked up at dad waiting for him to tell me. "But whatever we tell you just know we love you and will protect you. We're in the mafia." I looked at dad shocked then at everyone else. "So.. What happens now?" Dad looks at me shocked, probably shocked that I'm okay with them being in the Mafia. "Well. Now I'm gonna up the security around the place. Now for you if you're gonna go out somewhere you either have to take a guard with you or I want you to take someone with you wherever you go okay? And I talked with Marco and Enzo and they are gonna train you to fight just in case when no one is around you have more protection." I nod saying I'm okay with it. "Can I learn how to use a gun?" I asked while giving him a big smile. Dad chuckles along with mum. "Ahh you sound just like Luca did when we first told him. Before you learn how to use any kind of weapons keep with the fighting skills okay." I said okay then got off dad's lap. Mom came over to me and gave me a tight hug and a kiss on the head. "I love you my baby." "I love you too mom." 

After the hug I walked out of dad's office and went to my room. I was in my room for about 20 minutes when someone knocked on my door. I looked up from my phone and saw Luca and Dante walking in. "Hey sis you okay?" Dante asks as they both sat on my bed. I looked at them and shrugged. "I don't know you tell me? I got kidnapped at two, abused since four found by you guys all because they got put in jail then almost a year later someone helps them escape prison so now I'm gonna be looking over my shoulders 24/7 thinking that they are gonna take me away from you guys again. So yeah I'm totally okay." I said rambling while tears ran down my cheeks. Dante pulled me into a side hug and kissed the side of my head. Luca placed his hand on my cheek whipping away the tears. "Sis they are not going to get you. I would rather die then let anyone else harm you. I can promise you that I will protect you until my last breath." Luca says giving me a small smile. I smiled back and leaned over to give him a hug.

We were watching a movie when I fell asleep on Dante's chest. I woke up from another nightmare. I opened my eyes and looked around. I saw all of my brothers either on the bed the couch or on the floor. I looked outside and saw that the sun had gone down. I looked over at my clock and saw it was only 3:30 in the morning. I got off the bed trying not to wake anyone up. I walked downstairs and went into the kitchen to grab a cup of water.

I was on my phone while drinking my water when someone came in. I looked up and saw it was mom. "Hey mama. What are you doing up late?" Mom walked over to the fridge and grabbed out a bottle of juice then came over to me. "Oh you know been helping your father with work and that. Why are you up?" "Had another nightmare and couldn't go back to sleep." Mom gave me a sad smile. "I want you to know that your dad brothers and everyone in the mafia is doing everything to catch them." I nod and took another sip of my water. "Hey mom I have a question. Why did Maria turn out like she did? She's your sister why would she hurt the family by taking me?" Mom looks at me with guilt. "You see Maria was not always like this. When we were little we were super close. The same like you and Luca. She's my big sister and I loved her. I looked up to her like every little sibling. But that all ended when your father came into the picture. Your father asked me out and I didn't know Maria had asked out Alessio that same day he asked me out. When I had told Maria he asked me out she started yelling at me saying I told her whole life away and that I had stolen her one true love. After that she changed completely. She started drinking, doing drugs and started hanging out with the wrong group. 

It honestly got even worse after your father and I got married and had Marco. My mom and dad had tried everything to get her the help she needed. My father died trying to help her. My mother had lost hope with her. But after you were born I guess that was the last straw with her so she kidnapped you. After Enzo was born I had contacted Maria hoping I could try and fix our relationship. For years I thought it was fixed but I guess not because she took you just to hurt us. The whole time you were gone I always thought that it was my fault because if I never let her back in my life she wouldn't have taken you. I went through deep depression for the first few years after you were gone but with the help of your dad and brothers my depression went down a bit but it disappeared after you came home. I'm so glad my little girl has come home." Mom told me as she came over to hug me. 

"You know your dad came off to be ruthless but when it comes to family he's a big softy. You know the day when you and your brother were born he cried. He always wanted a girl and he got you. When he first held you I knew you were gonna be a daddy's girl. When you started to walk you would follow him everywhere and when you weren't with him you were with one of the boys. When the boys would get in trouble you would start crying begging for us to not get mad at the boys." Mom says laughing and I joined her.

Mom and I were talking when dad came downstairs. "Hey my beautiful wife and my beautiful daughter. What are you guys doing up so early?" Dad walks over to mom and kisses her then he kisses me on my head.
