After the enthralling first round of the skylanders tournament the crowd was left wanting more and thankfully they didnt have to wait long because once ambush had landed the finishing blow he was escorted out of the arena by eon himself.
A group of mabu cleaned the mess of blood and paint that was left behind in the arena.
King pen and blades were in the waiting room, the two prodigies eyed each other from across the room, knowing that soon they woul have an epic clash. One was the knight that was so skilled he became the youngest legendary skylander in history and the other was a fabled wargod, said to be the most skilled and wise skylander of them all, so powerful that he alone leads the senseis otherwise known as the top class of skylander.
Both of them were ecstatic when they got the message that the arena was ready for their battle, they gave eachother a smile then left the waiting room to go to their end of the arena.
Not long after they were striding through the gates onto the soon to be battlefield, you’d think blades would be scared to face king pen after witnessing what ambush did to splat, if anything his own situation was miles worse as king pen was the one ambush called a master, but in truth blades did not care. He just wanted a chance to show off the power that gave him his legendary status, even if he was a little bit cocky he would soon learn not to underestimate the top skylander.
They both stood just a foot away from eachother in the centre of the arena, ready to brawl with a cheesy grin on their faces.
As soon as the bell rang king pen raised a single mighty arm and brough his gauntlet down onto blades.
A block from both wings showed that blades was not going down without a fight, however the shockwaves that came from this clash shattered the floor surrounding them.
Blade felt every inch of strength king pen put into that strike and deduced that despite dealing an attack like that… he wasnt anywhere close to fighting seriously.
And so blades threw his first attack, to truly kickstart this battle of young versus old he used king pens strength against him and led his arm straight into the ground leaving an opening right on the senseis neck.
So with a swift jump and a spin blades slammed his sharp tail straight into king pens neck dealing a fatal wound right down to the bone.
King pen rose to his feet and spoke “i see… you are not one to be taken lightly” in response blades just smiled wider.
King pen returned with his own, he truly felt a sense of comradery in this battle, like they were both just here for a good fight and nothing more.
Blades made a quick manoeuvre to the side and barraged king pen with a large amount of knives.
King pen swatted every single one out of the air masterfully and began a dash towards blades.
As he ran towards his target his ponytail began glowing an icy blue.
