in january, i made these two drawings where i was experiencing with some artstyles: (warning now that i'm looking back at them they're actually kinda shitty looking but whatever) the second one was supposed to be kia

ANYWAY i showed these two drawings to haiske and i told him about kia
haiske said the first drawing kinda looked like what he imagined ghena looks like except with shorter hair!
and then i made a joke (i don't remember why i made it) that goes like this:
"ghena isn't looking at me, she's looking at kia"
get it? cause ghena is looking to the side where the kia drawing is?
...
...

WE BOTH HAD OUR JAWS DROPPED AND YELLED "LET'S MAKE KIA PART OF THE GANG AND MAKE HER GHENA'S GIRLFRIEND!!!!"
and that's how kia joined the club
and that's also how we decided that once we actually make a story out of this, the line "ghena isn't looking at me, she's looking at kia" MUST make an appearance somewhere

one day, QWERTY visited flapjack and ghena. He met their dad and now he's VERY down bad.
(their dad is a massive dilf)
ever since then, QWERTY is BEGGING narcis to stop being enemies with flapjack so they can all be friends and go to flapjack and ghena's house to see their dad again.
