As I feel the breeze brushing onto my soft skin, there, the grass and leaves also danced in the rhythm of the earth. It's been quite some time since I got to see how the sun sets. It's been a while since I got to sit on this trunk and bear witness this wonderful scenery.
The skies, the tint of the prettiest color, almost like I can smell it- it's weird I know.
Living in the country side my whole life makes me feel both grateful and miserable. I feel like I'm missing out so much in life but I don't really want to leave this place yet. You know when, things are just as peaceful as it looks, I feel like I'm the contrary of that thought. There are feelings that I don't know how to explain and to express it, actually, that thought itself scares me.
I held my hat as the wind blows again, I really like the thrill, the feeling of sensing something and doing something about it.
Hopping off the tree holding onto my dear dress with the hope of it to not magically disappear or be torn- to set up my canvas and paint.
"What a lovely day,.", I said to myself. Then started to fix my pallet, drawing the scenery in front of me; a bridge made out of stone bricks, a narrow river beneath it, and of course the beautiful skies and trees the least thing that I want to do is to drop things and make a mess; which, well..
My eyes widened when a bicycle coming down the hill with the steer straight to me at full speed.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!"
"AHH!!", I squealed because I can't really move my body. That was the only thing I could do for myself at least; I mean at least I made it very clear that I'm in shock and scared, eh?
"AHH!!"
"AHH!!", we yelled in unison.
Right before the person could actually reach me, the steer changed its direction and hit my things. My paint, my brush, my canvas, my everything, even my pretty dandelion got bald. All of the paint got splashed, straight to my face; fortunately the person and the bicycle went straight to the calm river. I saw how she got off the bicycle in time before falling onto the water.
"My love..", I said. I stood up, trying to wipe the paint that kind of got into my eye.
I ran to the water, really at rush as I heard the person choking when she stood away from the water; I think she's asking for a little help.
After reaching the water I kneeled down, to wash my face and scrub my arms clean before running back to see my things.
"Wha- a- heartless...?", I heard the girl say these words in the tone of confusion.
I looked back at her, she's trying to pull her bicycle out of the water. She's wearing a denim pants, a white shirt under a sweater vest; she's also wearing a sling bag? A- well, eyes that reflect the light of the sun; long hair..
"Aushh, my camera.", I heard her say and pouts.
For a split second I forgot about painting, I don't know, I feel weird. I blinked quickly, shaking my head to shove off whatever and get back to my business.
I picked up everything that was laying down the free grass. Put everything in my bag and stood up to softly wipe my face with my handkerchief. There was still a bit of paint on my face, I can feel it when I scrunch my nose, it's irritating me. I walked up the hill, I'll just go home and do my chores, I'll probably just try to paint again tomorrow.
I got startled when someone held my arm softly, I heard her pant trying to catch her breath.
"Hey, I-I'm really sorry about what happened. Your things, I'll p-pay for them.", the girl said. She's so drenched, I don't know if she's cold or she's nervous. She's stuttering a lot and her lips won't stop bumping onto each other rapidly.
