1996Kennedy stood in a circle with Natalie, Travis, and Coach.
Coach knew that all three of them were the only good ones to go hunting, even if Kennedy didn't make the final round. "The truth is, we might be out here for a little longer than we expected." He sighed knowing it might be like this for at least a few weeks.
"So the rest of us are relying on you three, which means you need to rely on each other," Coach looked to Kennedy and Travis, both of them rolling their eyes.
"You understand?" He raised an eyebrow waiting for a response from the trio. Kennedy raised her hand, "How about we take turns? I think 3 is too crowded for hunting and I'm always up for helping out at the lake, catching fish or something?" She proposed shrugging her shoulders.
Coach thought about it. He thought it was a good idea, making it a higher chance for them to get food than waiting on the other. He nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, okay, that sounds good." He agreed, passing the gun to Natalie, making Travis roll his eyes in annoyance walking away. Natalie was left stunned and ran to catch up, yelling out "Wait up!" to Travis.
Coach and Kennedy looked at each other knowing that it might be a bad idea to leave the two of them alone with a gun.

Kennedy was in the cabin trying to find the supplies she needed for catching fish. She went into the dead cabin guy's bedroom trying to find out if he had any sort of fishing rod. She walked up to the closet and opened it, a small crate sat in the corner of it. Kennedy was intrigued, she looked around it, dumping a couple of things out. She felt something cold and pulled it out. She let out a chuckle and gave the revolver a closer look.
She debated what to do if she should keep it to herself or tell Coach. Either way, she knew she wouldn't let anyone use it, knowing it would be a mess. She kept looking around the closet and found a decent-sized tin box that contained at least two hundred bullets for the revolver.
She shook her head in amusement, "Thank you, dead cabin guy." She thought out loud, putting the gun behind her back. She looked closer into the closet and saw what she needed. Kennedy couldn't believe it, the dead guy had everything she needed. A knock on the door pulled her out of her thoughts and she saw Jackie standing there, arms crossed.
"Why aren't you with Nat and Travis?" Jackie questioned the young girl. Kennedy shrugged in response.
"Thought it would be better if I tried fishing so we wouldn't be disappointed if they don't bring anything." She responded, grabbing the fishing rod passing the Taylor girl, and into the main area of the cabin. Jackie followed her out.
"So you're going to the lake?" Kennedy hummed, not being able to talk as she was fixing her backpack, filled with fishing-related things.
"Cool, can I come with you?" Jackie asked. The request made Kennedy stop in her tracks and turn to her, raising an eyebrow in a 'Are you serious right now?' look.
