My First Day

(Y/N)'s POV-

I hesitantly opened my eyes as the sunlight shone into my open eyes. I almost hissed at the sunlight. I brought my self back into reality, closing my opened curtains and looking at my clock.

"8:25, 8:25. 8:25-!" I repeated until I realized school started in 5 minutes. I quickly slipped into my school uniform, grabbed my bag and a bear paw, and ran out the door. You might say that I shouldn't have left without a word, but you should know my mother is a workaholic. She works, sleeps, then works again. As I ran down the street, I spotted some boys and girls. They were the popular kids, and bullies. One of them gave me a sharp look.

Classes came and went. Nothing happened. So boring.

I started to walk home when I came across this old well. I had the urge to walk over to it, and i found myself as the center of attention when those mean kids from before surrounded me.

"Nerd!" one called. "Take this!" she pushed me into the cold well, where the water seemed to consume me.

It felt so weird, I can't really explain it. I kept screaming into the inky purple void, yet nothing got better. Suddenly, I started to hear voices.

"No, don't go Kagome! He didn't mean it!" A childish voice cried.

"Blah, Blah, Blah!" The person I assumed was Kagome said.

"Wait, Kagome!" A boy's voice sounded.

"SIT BOY!" Kagome yelled, and with a large boom the grown rumbled

"AHG!" I yelled landing on some grass, which made my tail come out if my pants. My hood also fell off, which exposed my silky black ears.

"Hm?" Kagome questioned. She ran over to me. "Are you okay?" she asked with concern.

"Uh, yes" I said in a panicked struggle to hide my tail and ears.

"Good to hear!" She replied to my statement. "I'm Kagome, that's InuYasha, and that's Shippo" She said pointing at the respective person- er demon.

"Is it just me or does she have a demon scent?" InuYasha asked the others.

"I sense a demon. No, a half demon!" another boy walked into the clearing with a demon hunter.

"So she is a half demon!" InuYasha stared at me.

"Guys" Kagome started. "She has a large piece of the jewel!" I clutched my good luck charm that my dad gave me in the mail for my last birthday.

"Hand it over!" InuYasha demanded.

"Never!" I tear rolled down my cheek. I was scared and lonely enough as it is.

"Why not?" InuYasha questioned. He took a few steps closer as more tears ran down my cheeks.

"Get away!" I screamed.

"Whoa!" Miroko waved a hand in front of InuYasha. "Stop, she is a demon and we don't know how powerful she is"

"What?" InuYasha questioned "What kind?"

"I can't figure it out," he starts. "She seems to be concealing it"

"I-I'm not giving you my charm" I mumbled. "Why do you want it?"

"Just give i-" He was stopped by Kagome.

"Its fine. Why doesn't she stay with us?" Kagome questioned.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Please?" She urged.

"No" I paused "When I say no I mean no" I walked off into the woods. I walked for what seemed to be hours before sitting down on a rock. Then, I saw a man. I ignored him, thinking he would ignore me, but evidently I spoke.

"My life is a disaster!" I screamed.
