7. Mates?

"Why didn't you tell me this me before?" 

Chen, felix, Jisung and Hyunjin was sitting in a restaurant waiting for their food to be served.

"You were not in your right head space and I didn't want it to get worse. Besides I was all fine in one piece. Now it doesn't matter. You've been acting mad and sulking over this for the last 30 minutes." Jisung sighed.

"Fine. But next time you need to tell me. Uncle, aunt and mom and dad entrusted both of yours safety to me. So please understand"

Jisung sighed and nodded.

"Sorry hyung. I didn't mean to- "

"It's  fine. Look the food has arrived. Let's dig in"

From the drive to restaurant to now Jisung avoided any eye contact or anything with hyunjin but he could feel the stares from him boring hole into his soul.

Jisung kept his full attention on his foods other than talking to Felix and Chen here and there. He wanted to look into the person who sat in front of him.

Look into his eyes.

He felt something, something really strong when they first made eye contact at the club but couldn't bring himself to pinpoint in what actually it was.

He kept stealing glances during the whole lunch when Hyunjin was busy talking.

He didn't notice himself zoning out looking at Hyunjin until Hyunjin looked bake at him.

both of them locked eyes.

Jisung suddenly felt something.

It was an urge to run to the person in front of him. His inner omega was turning into a mess and badly wanting to run into the Alphas arms.

Hyunjin was in no good situation. His inner alpha was howling to claim the fragile omega and mark who is clearly a mess. His eyes was dilating to black.

Jisung panicked and ran to the bathroom gaining the attention of Chen and Felix who was  engrossed in their talk to notice the sudden tension.

"Sung!!!" Felix ran after him without thinking anything.

Chen sat there not really understanding anything. He looked the way Jisung ran the back at Hyunjin who was taking deep breaths.

"Wh-what just happened?" Chen asked.

Hyunjin opened his eyes after exhaling.

"I think I've found my destined mate" Hyunjin replied looking deep into Chen's eye.

"M-mate?" Chen felt a sudden chill run down his spine.  

Hyunjin nodded.

Chen looked at him with puzzled eyes. He then slowly put all the dots together.

That means....... Chen's eyes went wide open upon realization.

Chen suddenly stood on his heels and took a turn in the direction Jisung went and Felix followed.

He burst into the bathroom to see a sobbing Jisung in Felix's arm who was trying to calm him down without understanding the reason.

Jisung looked like a mess. A WHOLE MESS.

Felix looked at Chen with the confused eyes. His eyes were also a bit teary.

"Hy-" Felix was cut off by a loud growl.

Hyunjin followed Chen into the washroom and saw Felix with a messy Jisung in his arms.

This angered his alpha and he let out a growl.

Jisung flinched at the growl and looked up to see Hyunjin with red eyes ad Chen who looked... upset?

But Jisung had no time for that. His omega was crying for the Alpha's touch and scent.

He immediately teared himself from Felix and jumped into Hyunjin's arm, clinging onto him like a koala. Like his life depended on him.

"Sung..." Felix looked at him with confused eyes.

"Sung come here.." Felix tried to approach Jisung but flinched when Hyunjin growled and glared at him with those dark eyes.

Chen pushed him back and shook his head indicating that it's not the right time.

After 10 minutes when Jisung stopped sobbing and Hyunjin's eye went back to normal, Chen decided to approach them.

"Hyunjin... let's go back to our house. We need to talk."

Hyunjin nodded.

"I'll take him back with my car" Hyunjin said.

"OK the I'll pay and make a quick call to my secretory to cancel everything. Then we can go" 

"I already paid. I'll take him to my car first. He seemed to already doze off"

Hyunjin didn't wait for Chen's reply he turned and left.

"Hy-hyung.. what just happened? why did he take sung away?" Felix asked in whisper

"Lix.. I think he is sung's mate.." Chen was looking at the door hyunjin went out taking Jisung with him.

"Mate.......

..... but isn't he ours?"
