"What's your favorite color?" She suddenly asked with her eyes trained on my face.
I gave her a strange look watching her brown eyes widen in curiosity.
She studied my face a bit longer and the huge smile she wore made my heart stop.
"Is it green?"
She asked sitting up on the bed to face me.
Before that moment, I despised the color green but the amount of happiness in her voice led me to answer yes. Her smile was so wide I thought her face would crack. She threw her arms around me and giggled happily in my ear.
"I knew it!"
She whispered.
