Sammy's Pov.

"So Logan, what are going to do this summer?" I said as I passed to ball to Olivia.

"I don't know, probably summer work and a musical." Logan muttered to herself.

"Are you sure that is all? I want to hang out this summer. I was thinking Sammy, you, and I could go to the beach or something." Olivia looked at Logan as she passed the ball to her.

"You always say that we're going to hang out, but we never do. Then, I'm stuck in my room all day have a marathon of Gossip Girl. Do you know what it is like to see all of your friends on Snapchat having fun? As you listen to sad music and do my summer work for English." She yelled at us with the lacrosse stick in one hand and ball in other.

"What has got into you?" I asked.

"Nothing, I got to go. See you at school or whatever."

Logan dropped the ball where she was standing and walked away. There was an awkward silence as Logan left us without a reason or explanation. Olivia and I stood there as we watched her leave. I sat down on the grassy hill to tried understand what was going through her head. Olivia slowly moved next to me and didn't say a word. I just thought at that moment 'what had happen to our Logan?' and 'why had she gone into a state of pessimism?' .

"Olivia, do you know what is going through my mind right now?"

"No, but I can guess it isn't about lacrosse."

"You're right. All I can think about is Logan and could have done this to her."

"Everyone has those days and every get that way a quote from Hannah Montana."

"Haha so hilarious. Have you notice anything different about her during lunch? Because I have."

"Yeah, she is constantly leaving lunch early."

"She is probably going to talk to her sister or someone that can't be it."

"If you're really curious text her about it. I think she just stress about the school year coming to a close." She looks at her phone, "My dad's here I have to go. Bye."

"So is my mom. Bye."

I did text her later that evening. She seemed fine, but I never got around to asking if she was truly okay. I regretted not doing so now and maybe we have not got into this mess. If I just helped her fix the problem when it started. But life doesn't have do over like in the movies. I losted a piece of my friend after this day that I don't know if I will ever get back.
