" oh wait so link was three kids because when i left Amelia was pregnant"

"no jo adopt Luna and they live in my penthouse with scout"

"Does Mer know your coming here" 

"no we send pictures of the kids ever once in a while but not like a deep conversation is she here" 

"she left and hour ago and i would want to tell her she is still trying to adjust to this not single parent thing"

"she dated Hayes then his son toke it to hard so they broke and then she started dating the guy she is with"

Jackson shakes his hand and  they leave 

with Meredith And Nick 

" did you know Jackson just hired a new chief of peds"

"no why?"

" i got to work with him  tomorrow"

"Jackson didn't tell me his full  name  expect Alex'

" Alex helped a lot we was the one i would drink with after yelling at my husband doctor who killed him"

nick lays next to Meredith and she tells the story then they go to bed

Next morning they all got to work and Mer and nick get to the nurses station  

then Alex walks up and gives one of the nurses a tablet, Mer looks up at nick the sees Alex behind Nick 

" i will be right back"

Mer walks off and goes to Jackson's office and closes the the door 

"Mer"

" you hired Alex without telling me"

" i did i texted  you last now"

"no you texted nick telling him that he we have to work the new chief of peds not that it was Alex Karev"

"Mer Alex is your best friend why aren't you happy"

" i am that he is back just i needed a warning i haven't seen him in a couple years he left Jo his job he wasn't here when i needed him the most after i almost  died Andrew he never texted my own best friend at least you were there and Cristina it's going to take me longer to forgive him"

"Mer he left to be with his kids"

"i know that just he didn't have to leave the way he did after my trail he left and lied where he was to me when Andrew broke up with me i need him"

Mer walks out of the room and goes back to nick
