I just can't seem to let you go

Part 2-who invited him

I woke up in a terrible mood today and in a lot more pain then normal. i get ready and go downstairs when i finally check my phone shit i have an appointment this morning its my 38 week scan. i grab my keys and drop the twins off at school and rush to my appointment. when i get in im out of breath and huge. once i see my obgyn she has me lay on the table as she applies the cold gel on my stomach. she starts using the probe and checks to make sure everything is normal. once im cleared she asks me if its okay if she checks if im dilated and i smile and nod. she starts cheking and then once shes done she removes her gloves and looks up at me "your not even 1cm dilated" she says in defeat, "isnt that a good thing" i say out of breathe "well yes but if you start having any pain or contractions please come in" she says and helps me up "thank you" i say as i grab my purse and leave. i check my phone and theres hundreds of messages from cole,alex, and nathan. i take a glance at the messages and then put my phone down and start driving to schools. once i get there its 3rd period one of the classes im in with cole.he looks at me when i open the door. he looks releived. i walk over towards the teacher and hand her my note and i sit in my seat right by cole. he asks if im okay and i ignore him. i rest my hands on my stomach. once its time to do independant work he asks me again. i look at hime and then continue doing my work. once the bell rings i take a few seconds to stand up. i grab my bag and then head to my next few classes once class is over i meet the twins by the door and we talk as we head over to my car. once we get home i immideiatly go up to my room and lay in bed. i fell asleep.

its now 8 pm (5 hrs later) i woke up hearing a ton of people down stairs. but for one reason one persons voice stood out ot me and that was coles voice. i get up not even checking my appearance and i waddle my way down the stairs i roll my eyes when i lay my eyes on him. i finish walking down the stairs and i walk into the kitchen to get somethign to fulfill my cravings. i find goldfish that sound delicious to me in the moment so i eat a few and put them back in the cabinent. i then go into the living rooma nd sit by kaden and koty. i turn to kaden "why is cole here?" i ask "mom and dad invited him over for dinner" he says rolling his eyes i chuckle. dad gets up to go check dinner and gives me a look. mom looks at me "ryan why arent you saying anything to cole?" she says "maybe because i wasnt the one who invited him over, plus im exhausted im almost 39 weeks pregnant and not dilated even half a centimeter wont you give me a break?" i say out of frustration, she just looks away. i feel my leg turn wet and i look down to see my water broke, i look at my mom and then to cole. "mom i think my water just broke"  i say quickly. she stands up and helps me stand up."mom that hurts" i say wincing in pain.
