Debrispaw, Cycresspaw, Pebblepaw, and Honeypaw were gathered in the apprentice's den. All of them were trembling in the bitter leaf-bare. Honeypaw was fidgeting near her littermate, Cycresspaw.
Cycresspaw was glaring defiantly at Debrispaw and Pebblepaw. Debrispaw was about to leave when Cycresspaw stopped him.
"What did you think you were doing?!?" Cycresspaw snarled, lifting Honeypaw's paw up high to let all the apprentices see the wound. It was plastered with dried blood and puss, like squirming bugs.
Honeypaw shuddered as she saw her wound in a terrible state. Debrispaw's eyes widened, both marbled with fear, anxiety, and was that a tint of sorrow in his eyes?
Pebblepaw gasped, and padded up to Honeypaw. After taking a closer look, it was clear there were nettles and thorns sticking out of her paw. Pebblepaw stumbled at the sight of a flastered and disgusting wound.
"YOU THREATED HER DURING TRAINING!!!" Cycresspaw screamed angrily. Cycresspaw swiped at Debrispaw, claws out. Pebblepaw snarled and pounced onto Cycresspaw. Honeypaw and Debrispaw stood in shock as if frozen, but soon Debrispaw joined the fight.
Honeypaw went to find the medcine cat and Debrispaw and Pebblepaw's mentors. Soon Lionpelt, Skyfire, Honeypaw, and Sharpnose came rushing in. Lionpelt was busy scolding Pebblepaw, when Skyfire stamped on Debrispaw's foot.
Not to sharply that it caused a bruise, but sharp enough of a lesson that Debrispaw won't forget in a hurry. Skyfire whiped around to snarl at Pebblepaw when Sharpnose began speaking. That shut Skyfire up.
"I do expect much more, from all of you. Honeypaw, you should have came sooner, Pebblepaw, you shouldn't have gotton in this fight. Debrispaw and Cycresspaw, head to my den." Sharpnose examined Debrispaw and Cycresspaw.
"You'll need fixing up. Pebblepaw, rest in the den and I will bring some herbs and poppy seeds. You will sleep here tonight. "
