Fortunately, as the weeks went by, the rumors surrounding Est’s and William’s relationship began to fade. The media had shifted their focus, and the gossip about Est supposedly using William for his fame and connections slowly died down. However, the silence from the tabloids couldn’t change the reality of their situation. The weight of their conflicting schedules and the constant need for discretion took a toll on their relationship, creating an underlying tension that neither wanted to acknowledge fully.

The past few weeks had been a whirlwind of schedules and constant pressures. LYKN’s popularity had only increased, and William found himself constantly caught between group activities, solo projects, and fan events. As much as he wanted to be with Est, the demands of his career were relentless, and he had found it harder and harder to balance everything.

Est had been preparing for a four-week shoot in Chiang Mai, and before he left, he and William had made plans to meet one last time before he departed. They had been longing to see each other, but with their schedules, it was hard to make time for anything other than stolen moments.

The morning of Est’s departure, he had been waiting eagerly at the small café where they had agreed to meet. It was their usual spot, the place where they could relax without being in the public eye. Est had arrived early, his heart fluttering with anticipation. He had missed William so much, and the thought of spending even a few quiet moments together before he left felt like a small blessing.

But as the minutes ticked by, Est’s excitement started to fade. His phone buzzed with a few texts and missed calls, but none from William. He stared at the screen, feeling a mix of confusion and disappointment. He had hoped William would be there, waiting with that familiar smile, ready to say goodbye properly before his long trip.

When he reached out to call William, his phone rang and rang, but there was no answer. Est’s stomach twisted, a sinking feeling taking hold of him. He had been patient, understanding the pressures William was under, but something about this felt different. It wasn’t like William to be this unreachable.

He waited for an hour, then two, but still no word from William. Every time he looked at his phone, he only found silence staring back at him.

Finally, with a heavy heart and no other choice, Est left the café, his mind spinning. His suitcase was packed, and the flight to Chiang Mai was soon approaching. It wasn’t easy to push away the disappointment, but he had to go. There was no other option.

As the plane took off, Est gazed out the window, the tears welling up in his eyes as the city faded into the distance. He had been looking forward to seeing William so much, but now, it felt like a void had been left in his chest. A part of him wanted to believe that there was some explanation, some reason for William’s absence. But the other part of him couldn’t help but feel the sting of being left alone, even when he knew it wasn’t intentional.

It would be four long weeks in Chiang Mai without William, and for the first time in months, Est wasn’t sure when he’d see him again. The uncertainty weighed heavily on his heart as he settled into his seat, staring out at the cloudy sky, hoping that when he returned, things would be different, that whatever had kept William from showing up would be explained and that they would find their way back to each other.
