In the year of 5 A.D, during the war of mothers, the goddess of Celestianism, Celestia, had snapped the kingdom of Mermane into small and big pieces. Creating enemies and allies within the kingdom. Delani Stark, the last queen of Mermane, had made a decision to make Mermane into the continent it is today. In the throne room of the castle of Ruas, Delani sat back in her throne. Sitting among the nobles higher and lower than her.

"I have made a decision," Delani declared.

"I have decided that Mermane shall no longer be one kingdom," She declared once more.

Mermane was then divided into six colors. From the most powerful countries to their allies.

Starting with the most powerful...

The red kingdoms and princedoms; consisting of Abdullia, Adelaide, Rosharia, Assharia,

and The Isle Of Crimson.

Their allies, the blue kingdoms and princedoms; consisting of Hadria, Omaira, Ariel, and Lyras.

The black kingdoms and princedoms; consisting of Eisenehowera, Theodosia, Draconia, and Wisconsinia.

Their allies, the yellow kingdoms and princedoms; consisting of Mikane, Kendra, Maccaovia, Myenti, and Calista.

And lastly...

The green kingdoms and princedom; consisting of Elvera, Yves, Phaedra, Pashmina, and Prydainia.

And their allies, the magenta or pink kingdoms; Mitsukia, and Eulalia.

The war of mothers ended and the kingdom of Mermane became the continent of Mermandina.1788 years later...

In the year of 1792 A.D, a man dressed in a brown cloak was running through the village of Hansworth in the rain. While a baby, wrapped in a soft, silky warm blanket is cradled in his arms. He holds onto the baby tightly, protecting the baby from the rain and from dropping onto the hard, stone floor. The man enters the weeping willow forest. The weeping willow trees protect the man and baby from the rain as they walk through the forest. The man comes to a wall of bushes and tears the wall with his strong, calloused hand and sees the castle of Ruas in all of its beauty. The man carefully steps out of the bushes, doing his best to make sure the thorns of the bushes cut a hole in the baby's blanket, or worse, cut the baby's soft skin. The man and his baby walk up the hill. They walk up many stairs until they finally reach the entrance of the castle. Once the man finally enters the castle, he looks around as he walks into the throne room. He is exhausted by the time he is inside the castle and in the throne room.

"Eleanor!" the man yells, taking off his hood and using the last bit of energy he has. His voice echoes throughout the castle. Eleanor, a woman in her 50s-60s, dressed in a red robe, wearing only her underwear underneath, is doing her makeup and hair until she hears the man's voice. She immediately gets up from her vanity and rushes downstairs. She enters the throne room and sees the man holding the baby. "Mikael," Eleanor says, walking towards the man, Mikael. "What are you doing here? Who is the baby?" She asks, her eyes going back and fourth from Mikael and the baby.

"This... This is Edric," Mikael says, pausing for a few seconds before speaking again.

"I can't go into much details because Gwyneth doesn't want me to tell but take him,"

Mikael hands out the baby, Edric, out for Eleanor to take. Eleanor immediately takes the baby and cradles him. Eleanor looks down at the baby's cute face and light blonde curls in awe. When she looks up, she sees Mikael walking away about to leave.

"Mikael!" Eleanor calls out. Mikael stops at the sound of his name and turns around to look at Eleanor. "Please. Stay for the night," Eleanor says. "It's raining and I bet your tired from walking,"

Mikael, hearing Eleanor's words, agrees and decides to stay the night.

The next day, early in the morning, Mikael sitting on the edge of the bed, wearing nothing but his night-garments, cradles the baby, Edric. Mikael looks down at Edric with a sad look in his eyes. He always wanted a son and wants to keep Edric but his wife, the queen of the kingdom, Gwyneth wants the baby gone and nothing to do with it, since the baby reminds her of her "mistakes". Mikael stands up and puts Edric in his crib before getting dressed. Before he leaves the castle, he takes his Celestian star necklace off and puts it around the baby's neck and leaves. Mikael walks down the stairs to fluffy grass. He stops at the torn bush wall and turns around to take a finale look at the castle of Ruas in its glory. He then puts his hood on and steps into the weeping willow forest. He walks through the weeping willow forest, through the village of Hansworth, to Abdullia.

Never to return to the castle of Ruas ever again.

Seven years later...

Eleanor is brushing Edric's soft blonde curls while humming a lullaby. After she is done brushing his curls, Edric jumps off the chair and onto the floor. He runs to the window, climbs up the windowsill and looks out the window. "Mother," Edric calls Eleanor. "When can I go outside?" He asks, looking out the window curiously. "Edric, I have told you this a thousand times," Eleanor says. "You cannot go outside. Never. The outside world is a dangerous place," Eleanor gets up and walks over to the windowsill and sits next to Edric. "There are monsters that can hurt and kill you," Eleanor says. "It is way too dangerous for you,"

"Enough talking about the outside world, it is getting late. It's time for bed," Eleanor gets up from the windowsill and gestures for Edric to follow her. Edric follows her and crawls into bed. Eleanor tucks Edric into bed. "Goodnight, mother," Edric says, holding tightly onto a teddy bear. "Goodnight, Edric," Eleanor says back before leaving.

THE END.
