Doma has PTSD every time he sees a circus and a mask smiling because it reminded him of the Upper Rank 2 Dokeshi and how he almost took his lover Kotoha's life away. Inosuke and Sasaki weren't born yet and Doma didn't meet Ume or Gyutaro either. Doma decided to keep this secret hidden until later because he was afraid that if he tells them then they might go after Dokeshi and he might take their lives away and Doma was not ready to accept them dying unless it was out of old age where they are each have a family of their own.
