Covergirl makeup brand was really going downhill. Every other brand was coming up with cool, inventive and fun new makeup products that surely enticed buyers. But for some reason, Covergirl's products were labeled as boring. Which seemed quite odd to Covergirl, because they thought their bronzing foundation and foam blush were quite inventive products. But maybe the problem wasn't the products, maybe it was the representation...
Their latest Covergirl was actress Selena Gomez, one of the very few actresses who would dare be associated with such a brand. That didn't turn any heads.
Covergirl's Board of Advertisement and Marketing sat down to find the new face of Covergirl. They needed someone to meet the following criteria
- different. Different than any other model out there. REALLY wow people.
- relatable. They needed someone people knew, not some gorgeous yet unrealistic model.
- fierce. They needed somebody who could also bring sassy to the table.
Well, there was only one person that met all the criteria and beyond: Dave Grohl. It was the perfect answer. What other makeup brand would hire a man in his forties to model makeup? It was sure to make people go CRAZY. After all, he already had quite the following between legendary grunge gods Nirvana and being the frontman of a group of insanely cool infamous fighters of foo. And so it was decided. There was only one flaw to this mastermind plan, would Dave agree to this?
