*A colorful flower is happily cuddling with their pet rock, giving it all the kisses on the head while saying how good but brainless it is. The pet rock in question does not seem to care, only panting and wagging its tail.*

"Who's my stupid lil babyyyyy. Lil dumb dumb!! Lil idiot!!"

*The dog simply yips out of joy, not seeming to understand the affection insults being told to him. Nearby is a quiet and tired toon, listening in with a smile. He sighs before walking away, rubbing his eye with the blanket wrapped around himself. Soon after, the flower walks out while the small dog trailed behind. He spots his 'friend, or should he say 'crush'.. no, crush is weird. He'd rather just call him a friend for now. He then tries to quietly sneak up on the moon person, only to be met with him turning around and looking down on him. Dandy slightly yelps and moves back a bit, surprised but then giggling afterwards*

"Well heya Astro!!! How ya doing so far?" "..good, I suppose." *He lets out a little yawn, covering his mouth with his blanket. Dandy slightly pouts, eyebrow raised. Pebble runs over to Astro's leg and rubs up against is, tail wagging as he looks up. Astro smiles at the small rock and gently pats him with a star.*

"You sure you're good? You're usually not this sleep deprived." *He then circles Astro, examining him* "I'm sure, Dandy.." "You wanna talk about it later?" *He looks to his side as if contemplating* "..yes please." "I knew there was something up with you! Come on, to my room!!" *His leafy tail flicks as he gestures Astro to follow, the tired moon doing so. Once their in Dandy closes the door before sitting on his bed. Pebbles yips before running over, jumping onto the bed, and laying on Dandy's lap as his tail wags. Dandy pats the side next to him, gesturing Astro to sit there, in which he does. Dandy kicks his feet, looking at him*

"Sooo what's the problem?" *He looks at Astro intently* "..more Toons keep having nightmares. It's draining my ability... one more and I'll probably pass out on the job. Then everyone would come and bombard me about why I didn't give them good dreams.." *he sighs and rubs his eye with his hand rather than blanket, said blanket slowly slipping off to reveal his other three arms* "I just need a small break.."

*Dandy nods, petting Pebble as he listened* "Well you're in luck!!! You can stay here for a bit while I tell everyone else that they'll just have to deal with it." *He puts on his iconic smile, this time without malicious intent. He looks at Dandy, tired and a bit nervous* "..are you sure..? I can just continue-" "no no, you rest." *Dandy gets up, tail flicking* "I'll go tell them. Stay here!!"

*He happily walks out the room, placing an asleep Pebble on Astro's lap. Damn. Now he really can't go anywhere.*

*A few minutes later Dandy returns smiling, carefully climbing onto the bed* "All done! Now you can rest!!" *Dandy then carefully picks up Pebble and places him on a doggy bed. Astro sighs and hugs his arms* "..thanks, Dandy." "No problem! Jeez- what's the time-" *He looks to his digital clock. He cannot stand the regular one's constant ticking. He could practically hear it from miles away. Darn sound sensitivity. He rubs the side of his face and looks back at the digital clock.. 10:47 pm. He sighs and starts going under covers. Astro then gets up to walk out of the room* "Hey, where are you going??" "..to my room." "How will I know that you won't go off overworking yourself?"

*Astro stops and sighs, turning around and going over to Dandy's bed* "so then where exactly am I supposed to sleep." "On my bed!! I can go sleep on the floor." *He smiles. Astro on the other hand looks at Dandy as if he just said something so terribly wrong. Dandy starts getting off the bed only to be picked up and placed back. His face turns a bit tan, blushing at this action before quickly shaking it off. Astro then gets on the bed as well*

"..no, its fine. You can sleep on here. I'll be sleeping on the floor." *Dandy shakes his head. Both begin to bicker, protesting on who gets to sleep on the floor and who doesn't. Pebble then wakes up, hops onto the bed, curls up, and sleeps once more. The two look to him, then back to each other. Guess they'll both be sleeping on the floor.*

*Dandy brings over some fluffy pillows and a blanket, setting it onto the floor right next to his bed that Pebble now supposedly owns. He puts his blanket a good distance away from Astro's and then gets comfy on the floor. Astro looks over to Dandy and smiles, some blush lightly brushing his face, now instantly falling asleep upon closing his eye. Dandy closes his own eyes, smiling contently as he softly breathes. He then feels something wrap around his body. His eyes instantly dart open, only to see that it's just Astro spooning him... Astro?? His face warms up and begins looking around, now calming down and warming up to the crescent moon's touch. He melts into it, feeling more and more comforted by the second. He yawns and puts his head up against his chest, softly snoring. Astro slightly opens his eye, looking at him and smiling a bit before continuing to rest.*

*Tonight was a good night*

*He wished it had lasted forever.*

*But it turns out the crescent wasn't too fond of his plans for the future.*

*What they had for each other is now gone ever since the operation began. At least, what Astro had for him was.*
