Ava's Pov - I don't know when I came home last night . Last night I pressed the emergency button in my phone which I later said I did it by mistake as I don't want to open up the matter I had a hangover from last night .

I can clearly remember what happened last night ...that man well I am scared right now scared of my life probably .I woke up and checked my phone ,I noticed there is a lot of call and messages from Annie my secretory , I looked at the clock in the wall "11:30 it says " I mentally cursed myself for sleeping so late

I called Annie to inform that I wont come to office today ,

I said "Annie I wont come today"

"But mam there are lots of letter from different client " she said

"They can wait absolutely " I said blankly

"yes mam " she said and I hanged up and threw the phone on my bed

I am stressed as fuck , Don't know why but I feel like something gonna happen

I decided to pay a visit to library ,surrounded my fictional world could only way to escape from reality

I had some Bread and egg for breakfast and a strong cup of coffee , and I dressed up into a blue trouser and white tank top with a jacket ,I applied a little makeup and a nude lipstick , took my library card and took my car keys and went out

I smiled at the receptionist outside my apartment

Soon I reached the library and read after searching for some hours I found a good fictional book

though I need to deal with mafia criminals and murder all the time but reading them as fiction is a different kind of thing . Here what it come fictional world verses reality

In books the mafia boss are every readers weakness but in reality only the one who deals with them know ,after thinking so much I started reading the book, after sometime I felt thirsty and went to the counter to order a drink and then I came back and again started reading , After reading some pages , I noticed a small piece of paper folded in between the book , that was not there I guess I thought to myself

I opened the piece of paper , something was written there "be a good girl Amore "

I looked around the room but did not notice anything wrong but it feel like something is wrong

I can feel someone s pierce gaze on me ,I noticed someone wearing a black hoodie sitting few tables after me

I hurriedly went and opened that persons cap , It was a girl

she looked at me annoyingly , I just muttered a sorry and left ,well I was embarrassed

Neverminded I came back and started reading again

I got a keen interest in the book so I decided to issue the book ,

when I was putting the passwords for my apartment , I noticed an envelope in the letter box

letter box ? I mentally questioned myself In the age of email and all who will write me a letter ?I took the letter it looks like a formal one with my name

I came back home and poured a glass of wine ,tomorrow I need to go to office so I set an alarm

at 8am in the morning I was awaken by a rush of nausea as I rushed to the bathroom and vomited , I wish someone was there beside me

well this days I always vomit probably from too intense drinking

I got ready in a black suit a typical lawyer dress as I was about to get out I noticed that envelope from last night lying in the table I completely forgot about that

I took it and came out soon my driver came as I was heading to my office

While I was in the car , I tore opened the envelope and its about a client , Andrew Benedict s case ?

I heard that name somewhere in Tv or news article but cant remember where

As I reached office Annie flashed me a gradient smile

" good morning mam ,here is some letters from client and cases "

I hummed " Annie who is Andrew Benedict ?" I asked

" mam you don't know Andrew Benedict he is powerful mafia , why you ask mam ?"

I handed Annie the letter I received at my home

" Mam take the case , Andrew is rich you will get rich " she screamed almost

"didn't you said that he is too obvious to be a criminal and I am also sure it is him who murdered so I don't want to take this case "I said as I was looking through the emails

"Annie check the other letters "

"I checked them mam they are all from Andrew Benedict "she said

I hummed , I opened the news article , for two days I didn't read any news , the first headline

"GOVERNER KIM FOUND DEAD ON XXX STREET OF NEWYORK " "PEOPLE ARE SUSPECTING ANDREW BENDICT FOR THE CASE ,though no proof have been found " this read headline caught my eyes and I decided to scroll a bit more

I scrolled more but my eyes widened when I saw the picture of the man in the alley . it was the same scene i witnessed that day but the only difference is its in daylight .

Did I witnessed the governors murder ?
