Adrien tried. He tried to ignore them but he couldn't.

As soon as he spotted Marinette amongst the crowd he couldn't help but stare at her or more likely glared at her dance patner.

The man's arm holding her waist and another hand holding her hand. Being  incredibly close to her. His inside twist a bit. "Ah- Adrien!" Lila whispered yell at him.

Adrien quickly diverted his gaze from Marinette to Lila. Looking at her unpleasant expression his gazed traced towards his hand on her waist, gripping beneath his hand.  He quickly de attached his hand and mummble "sorry" before twirling her around.

Again, his gaze diverted towards Marinette. The man again pushed her close after twirling her.

"I'll be back in a bit" Adrien excused himself from Lila and went towards the DJ player.
"Excuse me" Adrien said grabbing the man's attention. He pull off his headphones and stared at him as if to continue.

"Could you change the song to something that everyone can engage with each other?" Adrien asked
"uhhhh.. Like exchanging partner? " the man further enqired
"Yeah.  Exactly that And oh! You um.."

Adrien looked again towards the dance floor with calculating eyes before turning back to the man.
"Can you like change the song back to this one after 7 rounds? Do you get me? " Adrien asked with flushed face.

""Yeah, yeah man.  I understand,  must you wanna be with your girl.  Okay, fine enough "the man replied before placing his headphones back to his ears.  Adrien blushed uncontrollably before parting his way. back.

"Where were you? " Lila enqired. "Urinating" his dry reply made Lila's face go red. "Oh" she said. Adrien placed his hands on her waist and pull her to the dance floor again.

"Wait, Adrien. I don't want to dance anymore" Lila protest. " Please dance for me" Adrien said with his eyes staring at her. Lila breathes heavily before slightly nodding. Adrien smiled and they started dancing.

Marinette rigidly moved her body according to the beats contrary to her dance patner who seems to move his body freely.

Her eyes wandered around and instantly locked her eyes with Adrien's back.  Frowning her eyebrows a little she swayed her body slightly with aggression.

The man twirl her two times but her gaze didn't flatter until Adrien turned around. His eyes locking with her and suddenly both started feeling warm in their chest. Both quickly inverted their gaze, just for a second before locking again.

Out of blue, Marinette clings more towards her dance patner with her hands resting on his shoulder.  The man leans towards her further while she gives a little too sweet smile to Adrien.

Adrien quickly reacted. He frowned his eyebrows with a scrowl on his face but soon he broke the eye contact and make Lila lean towards him, his forehead touching  with her's. Again he looked sideways, towards Marinette, now a little smirk on his face.

Marinette rolled his eyes subtly but soon a sad smile appears on her face.

The music suddenly seems to change to a more building up musical tune.
And everyone exchanged looks with each other before the girls starts to twirl themselves and skips their steps towards the new partner.

Marinette too twirls herself and places her hand to another's hand,  dancing more rigidly now.
"Is there suppose to be a ball dance like this? " Marinette thought with her  eyebrows narrow and lower lips slightly bending upwards.

The new dance partner twirls her around two time before she left his hand and moved towards another.
This continues for the couple of minutes before the song change back to what it was playing before but now now sensual and slow.

Marinette gaps audibly while her eyes enlarged when she found herself standing in front of him.
The man before him smirked before placing his arms around her waist and closing the distance between them.

Marinette, with her hands resting on his shoulder let out a shaky breath.
Adrien leans towards her a little more,  resulting  his forehead to touch against her. Marinette slowly encircled her arms around his neck.

Both closed their eyes and sighs. Feeling content with the presence of each other.Feeling each other. The sence of familiarity soon starts building up inside them. Swaying their bodies together without any trace of hesitation.

Marinette turns her head sideways  to avoid that strong emotion that seems to raise itself but before she could completely do  so, Adrien placed his hand on her face and turns her back towards himself.

With rapid beating of her heart she back off from him by opening her arms from his neck.  Again,  Adrien quickly pulled her back by twirling her around.

"Stay" he whispered, his voice showing the vulnerability when he requested.
"Till the dance is over" Marinette replied, feeling her heart swell upon hearing his voice.

I wish I could stay forever.
