A/n- Uhm... you all I'm alive don't worry. If you did, I mean, some of you might not care, but I am here. Anyway quick update, still, I wouldn't say I like school, the guy and I had a fallout. And this is the resuming chapter right after "Dreaming"
The darkness enveloped me, and for a moment, I felt weightless, as if floating in a void. Then, gradually, light began to seep in, and I found myself lying on a cold, metallic floor. My head throbbed, and I struggled to piece together what had just happened.
"Y/N, are you okay?" Tony's voice broke through the haze. I blinked and saw him kneeling beside me, his face etched with concern. His white-silver hair glinted in the dim light, and his eyes, usually so confident, were filled with worry.
"I'm... I'm fine," I managed to say, sitting up slowly. "What happened?"
Tony glanced over his shoulder at Bruce and Simon, who were standing a few feet away, their expressions tense. "We were hoping you could tell us," he said, helping me to my feet. "One moment you were here, and the next, you just collapsed."
I rubbed my temples, trying to remember. "I don't know. Everything went black, and then... nothing."
Simon stepped forward, his large appearance making him look even more intimidating. "We need to figure out what's going on," he said, his voice calm but firm. "This isn't normal."
Bruce nodded in agreement. "We need to get you checked out, Y/N. Make sure there's nothing wrong."
I nodded, feeling a sense of unease settle over me. "Okay. But first, can someone explain what you meant by 'saving' me?"
Tony exchanged a glance with Bruce before speaking. "After the big fight, you were exhausted and fell into a deep sleep. You've been out for a few hours."
I stared at him, trying to process his words. "A few hours? It felt like no time had passed at all."
"And now that you're awake," Bruce said, "we need to make sure you're okay and figure out why you collapsed just now."
Simon, who had been silent, spoke up. "We also need to consider the possibility that something else is at play here. Something we don't understand yet."
Tony nodded. "Agreed. Let's get you to the med bay, Y/N. We'll run some tests and see if we can figure this out."
As we made our way to the med bay, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. Tony walked beside me, his presence comforting despite the circumstances. I glanced at him, and for a moment, our eyes met. There was something there, a connection that went beyond friendship. But now wasn't the time to dwell on that.
In the med bay, Bruce and Tony ran a series of tests, scanning my brain and checking my vitals. Tony stayed by my side the entire time, his hand occasionally brushing against mine. Each touch sent a jolt of electricity through me, and I couldn't help but wonder if he felt it too.
After what felt like hours, Bruce finally had some answers. "Physically, you're fine," he said. "But there's something unusual about your brain activity. Its like theres.... Water, fire, wind and earth. "
"The elements?" I repeated, feeling a chill run down my spine. "What does that mean?"
"We're not sure," Bruce admitted. "It's possible that when they were experimenting on you, some test might have gone to protect you, the day they found you, Nat said, the wind was insane when they stepped outside. Thor rememebers seeing one of the scientists catching fire, and There were some other things that, we saw while you were unsconious."
Tony squeezed my hand reassuringly. "We'll figure this out, Y/N. I promise."
I nodded, trying to stay positive. "Okay. What's the next step?"
"We'll need to monitor you closely," Bruce said. "But, we have to keep you inside, because your so new to your powers, we don't know what might happen if we expose you to them, naturally."
As the doctors continued their work, Tony and I found ourselves alone in the med bay. He looked at me, his eyes filled with a mix of emotions. "I'm glad you're awake, Y/N. I was so worried about you."
I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me. "Thanks, Tony. I'm glad to be back."
He hesitated for a moment before speaking again. "There's something I need to tell you. Something I've been wanting to say for a long time."
My heart skipped a beat. "What is it?"
He took a deep breath, his eyes never leaving mine. "I have feelings for you, Y/N. I know this isn't the best time to bring it up, but I needed you to know."
I felt my cheeks flush. "Tony, I... I have feelings for you too. But right now, we need to focus on figuring out what's happening to me."
He nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "I know. But once we get through this, I want to explore what we have. If you're okay with that."
I smiled back, feeling a sense of hope for the first time since waking up. "I'd like that, Tony. I'd like that a lot."
As we continued to work together to uncover the mystery of my condition.
I felt something, that I felt when they first saved me.
Safe.
Happy.
Cared for.
(Dispite the fact I have a muscle man watching over me 24/7)
