This is the first book in a (n/a) part series. Follow the protagonists Cloudkit, Oatkit, and Galetooth as they uncover darknesses the Clans have hidden from them... and a group of cats known as the Dark Matter.
This book is based very loosely on one I had written when I first started writing on Wattpad called The Dark Matter. It was about Badgerpaw and Stormpaw dealing with an antagonistic rogue group by this name. With no drafts left of it, I set off with a plan to rewrite it in a better - and perhaps more cruel - fashion.
This book will contain lgbtq+ characters and topics of strong religion and more.
If you spot any errors, feel free to correct but keep it to a minimal <3 I write fast but do go back and edit and revise over time.
Chapters average 2500+ words. This book is in a series and events will take a lot of build-up to transpire, so most of this book will be character development, plot building, and more... but I promise good moments as chapters will get longer and more in depths as we go along :)

CLAN BACKGROUND
COPPICECLAN lives in the dense woods. Their camp is located in a chasm amidst the deepest parts of it. Their territory has minor streams and ponds. They are strong and well-built to travel the rough terrain and undergrowth. It is said their chasm is too much for a kit to get out of - too rocky and steep - so their first accomplishment as an apprentice will be the ability to scale out of camp.

VALECLAN lives in the valleys with mountains at the far edge of their territory. Their camp is able to a small waterfall and its stream, shallow and slow enough for them to even stand in. The edges of the valley around the river deem tall and sturdy enough for them to form their dens in the rocks and own built burrows.

STARLINKED are the only roles different from your average warriors novel / fanfiction. Starlinked are healers with a foretold special connection to ancestors. There is typically two to three adult Starlinked at a time with any training. Starlinked are decided at birth, as every kit is blessed by a Starlinked which can lead to them telling the kits special connection with their ancestors and destiny to become one of them. They are known to keep the peace between both Clans as they have their own meetings outside of occasional gatherings more frequently.
And with that, the rest of the Clans history awaits you ahead.... enjoy :)
