1. Anything family related.

Now no hate to any author, but I would never in my life read anything related to any kind of family, step father, step brother, step mother, whatever it is, I would never touch a book if it has a mention of any kind of family relations with sexual interactions, just not my cup of tea

2. Bigger Age Gaps Than Necessary.

Now guys this can be quite subjective for some people but personally I would never touch a book with huge, and I mean freaking massive age gaps, now age gap isn't the main issue, but the ages used are

You telling me you are writing a book with an 18 year old girl and a 38 year old man? Sorry dude that doesn't seem very right, that man is old enough to be her dad, and what's the issue of authors with making their FML being stuck on 18-19 year olds, like make them grow up a bit, goddamnit

3. Sexual assault as the main factor between main leads.

No but if you tell me that the main leads have sexual assault involved between them or any kind of assualt between each other, and still they end up together, I will throw my hands at the author and I won't hesitate to do so

Like why, what was the reason?

4. Reverse Harem.

Not my cup of tea again, I won't write one and I will also never read RH

5. Overused plots.

This is more related to writing style and not trope, like if I am seeing the same thing over and over again, then I wouldn't read it, like nerdxpopular, richboyxpoorgirl

I lose intrest

6. Over the top smut.

If your book is just filled with smut and nothing else, then I am sorry I won't be reading it, some writers do exceptionally good while mixing smut with plot, but some just doesn't know when to stop, like the main leads be getting freaky every two chapters (bhai pichle janam mein rabbits the kya ifykyk)

7. Misunderstandings.

I am sorry, I enjoy a good misunderstanding and angst plot once in a while but if your whole book is based on misunderstandings then better make the main leads break up, like ever heard something named trust?

_____________

Now not pointing out or hating any author, it was just my silly little opinion, and if any of you disagree please feel free to do so

Anyways what's the trope which gives you the ick?
