The figure looked down at the ladies "I possibly can't believe I'm saving your asses again" Rein pulled out a flashlight. The girls hearts were beating like crazy as Stephanie looked at the sparkly diamond ladybug bugs flying around and just pouring out the monstrous corpse.

"DON'T SCARE US LIKE THAT!!" Penelope yelled, as Rein slid down "Come on. Grab the ladybugs and let's scram"

Penelope grabs a jar and quickly traps through ladybugs in it. They sparkled as she shut the lid she watched as Rein went up to Stephanie.

"You...okay?"
"Oh because you scaring us was enough to give me having a heart attack"
"Oh please I saved your ass"
"Why?"

Rein just shrugged as he walked on. Stephanie rolled her eyes before following and Penelope catching up. When they made it outside Penelope was actually relieved to see the sunlight.

Rein put up his hand to silence them. Suddenly a arrow was aimed at his neck but Rein held it firmly. He looked to the arrow then at the rustling bushes. With a icy expression he turned the arrow and shot it right back.

Seconds later they heard a shriek of pain and fear, then a thud. Rein pushed Penelope and Stephanie down to the ground.

"If you dont show your face there will be violence" he got out a riffle from his boot, "I'm not kidding I have 12 bullets in this"

The three came out of thr bushes. One of them who had the arrow in his shoulder as it was bleeding half to death. Penelope sighed she got up "Guys it's fine I know them"

"We were just following orders, princess" The injured man spoke as one of them nuged him. "Todd! Idiot you ain't supposed to call her that! Imagine now if the whole world knew she's the grand masked princess!"

Another one spoke up "Guys..I hate to say this but you just both exposed Penelope's identity"

Rein just looked at those two dumbfounded as Stephanie looked at Penelope
"YOU'RE PENELOPE QUINCE!!" She got up as Penelope sat up dusting herself off

Stephanie immediately bowed "Your highness! I'm so sorry for everything I've done I-"

"Step. Please stop you're embarrassing yourself" Rein put a hand on Stephanie's shoulder

Dallas was hearing Vincent talking crazy on how to get Penelope back. He had a whole investigation board set up. Vincent brought out a box of gifts, "This one Kaitlyn Dolls she loved this when she was six, all the pink strawbites from Berryville and-"

"I'm not done. Her favorite board game and more jewelry."
"Vincent."

"VINCENT!!" Dallas snapped glaring at him "Stop! This isn't gonna work" Vincent just laughed "Come on-"

"No. Vincent can't you see what you're doing?! You're gonna shower her with sudden love and affection and as soon as you have her in control...you'll take all of that away from her" He stood up taking the box and putting it down "You can't keep getting her hopes up for a week or 3. Then...just get back on that crap routine of being a overprotective but neglectful dad. It's tiring and some day she's gonna wanna leave"

Vincent froze his rage growing as his soft eyes turned sten. He grabbed Dallas collar "Dallas...are you still on that fucking prophecy? Penelope getting ruined? I am the only thing she's got..and I don't need you telling me who the treat my daughter. You should be worrying about your bankruptcy and debts"
