Turns out I work for him

Mark's way of working.....

After working for a while, Mark calls for a meeting with every team's representative, for getting the updates personally. Yeon-so gets nervous because now she had to face him again but she didn't want her colleagues to know about her past, even though she had prepared everything perfectly, she was a little scared to face him. So, she decided to present the reports without looking at him. "you'll be alright, Yeon-so, you can do it." She cheers herself and goes inside the meeting room, unfortunately, without knowing, she comes in before anyone, and was alone with Mark in the meeting room for a short while. He looked calm and collected but Yeon-so was looking exactly opposite of it. Her inside panic and pounding heart beats could be clearly seem on her face, which was flushed red as soon as she saw mark sitting in the center. As she took her another step in the room, everyone started entering the room and her tension eased.

The meeting started and one by one, everyone started giving their reviews, being an entertainment company, they had many teams to work understand one management, and Yeon-so was in charge of the design team which was one of the main teams, as everyone gave their reports to Mark, he pointed out some improvement points in every teams report, finally it was Yeon-so's turn to place her report and her report was proper with no mistakes, she started explaining her report but, rather than looking at mark, she looks at the other copy of the report, which she brought for herself, "sir, we have been looking at our artists style of living and planning to take that into consideration for the upcoming variety shows that the artists are about to take part in, and the designs for the shoot taking place the day after tomorrow is also ready, just needs your approval." She places the design on the small table in front of mark. Instead of looking at the document, mark says, "Ms. Yeon-so, everything is alright but why are you not looking at me while talking. It looks like you have prepared a speech and you are just reciting that in front of me, even if your reports as minor problems, you should at least face your superior while talking, that's the least respect you show to your superior, don't you think so? Ms. Kim Yeon-so?" she looks up to find him looking at her with cold and irritated eyes. She had never seen him like this before, looking at him, like this she felt some stabbing pain in her heart but she sat composed and apologies in the most professional way, showing sincere emotions. Looking at her eyes, mark reverted his gazes and continued the meeting as if deliberately ignoring them.

As the meeting ended, everyone started leaving the meeting room when, mark asked Yeon-so to stay behind, she gets a little alarmed but remains composed in front of her colleagues, they wish her luck and leave the room, but mark just had a few questions related to the design and wanted some adjustment to be made in the design. He says, "Ms. Yeon-so, can you please, change the lighting to some cozy colors like pair cream with brown and orange would look good too, since our artist love living a cozy style and we are respecting that, then we should do 'JUSTICE' with the colors as well, right?" he emphasis on the word justice more as if indirectly asking for explanations but both remain professional till the end and come up with the solution of adjusting the colors in the background. She leaves the room and signs in relief for losing her composure in front of him. and some similar situation was mark facing as well, he thought that he will be able to handle being alone with her but that was not the case, his heart was pounding like crazy and was about to come out, but he was saved last minute and remained in his ethical composure.

Sitting in his cabin, when mark was reading the revised reports, his eye catches the glimpse of Yeon-so, who was working on her next target, looking at her, he realized that, even after so many years, he still had those lingering feelings for her and was frustrated about it. He stood up and moved out of the cabin, telling his secretary, "Ms. Lee, I'll go to the studio for the fashion weeks examination, if you need me for anything, you can call me anytime." And brushes through Yeon-so, ignoring her. He reaches the parking lot and gets in the car. Passing his seat belt, he starts to reminisce the time when Yeon-so left.

After Yeon-so ran away that day, he tried to call her several times, he went to her place but could not find her, when he went to his house that night; after the whole day of searching, he sat on the chair in the balcony and the phone rang, it was Yeon-so, he picked up the call, "where are you? I've been searching for you the whole day, you should at least have told me before going, don't you think so? I want to meet you, now. Where are you? I'll come there. Give me your address." He said with heavy throat, on the other hand, Yeon-so's voice had almost searched its limit as well, it seemed like, she would lose her voice anytime, "let's never meet again. I don't want to see you, again. Don't come to find me as well." She just said this much and disconnected the call. Even before Mark could say anything further, the call got disconnected, after trying many times after wards, no one picked up the call, he rushes to her house again, just to see the big lock on the main gate. They had already moved out. He didn't know what to do, whom to call or where to go.

Mark thought Yeon-so abandoned him, leaving him with a broken heart. He thought that, that was the end of everything between him and Yeon-so. But never expected that Yeon-so would be working in his own company. Mark was actually the owner of that entertainment company 'M&T entertainments.' His father had told him to select one company where he would like to train himself to take over the company, after being to every country, which holds a franchise of them, he had come to Korea. But he didn't know that he would meet Yeon-so here. After seeing Yeon-so he decided to stay in Korea and train himself over here.

What happened to Yeon-so that day? Why did she suddenly decided to cut off ties with mark? Did she really abandon him? If yes, then again, why?
