"I can't believe that you're late again"

"Sorry, My angel! I was stuck in a traffic"

"I'm angry at you"

"What do I have to do, to melt down your anger?"

"You have to buy me my favorite Ice-cream"

She said while giggling to herself.

"Aria, that is not good for your health-"

She interrupted him and spoke,

"Appa! I know but one ice-cream will not affect me"

Jin looked at his six-year-old daughter whining to him about her favorite ice-cream again.

"Aria, once it's a NO- IT IS A NO"

Her eyes started watering. Jin couldn't bear it. The tears in her eyes.

He just pulled her closer into his warm hands. He wiped her tear-stained cheeks and made her look into his eyes.

"Baby, you know how much it hurts Appa, to see you fall ill, right??"

She just nodded her head. Slightly.

"Okay, Instead of Ice-creams, how about a new book for your story time?"

Her eyes widened at the mention of the new story book.

"Really?"

"Yes, Baby!"

Jin smiled at his cute daughter who was smiling widely at him now. She hugged her father and told him to get ready fast for their bedtime story. Jin told her to give him a few minutes to change his clothes as he came directly from his never-ending meeting.

After having their dinner with laughs and smiles, Jin carried his Aria and placed her on the bed, near her neatly decorated unicorn themed tent. Aria took her soft unicorn plushie into her hands and waited for her dad to start the story.

"Appa! What's the story name?"

"The Kings's Little Princess"

"Yay! I'm excited"

Jin started to read the story.

"Once upon a time, there lived a King"

"Wait! Whom should I imagine as the King?"

"Who else? Obviously, me" Jin replied chuckling.

Aria giggled and said, "Continue! Continue!"

"The King had a beautiful daughter named Bella"

"That's me" Aria exclaimed excitedly.

She started involving in the story, waiting curiously for the next line. She needs people to imagine them in the place of the characters in the story. She likes to visualize the story. Jin smiled to himself knowing his daughter's cute theory.

"They used to play every day in the garden-"

"Appa?"

Aria spoke, interrupting Jin.

"This story also, is like every other story. It does not have my Appa. I don't need it"

Jin stopped. He couldn't defend himself. Not in this. He can't-

"Dad, Will you tell me the story of Appa too??"

Jin is silent. He doesn't want to. At least not now.

"Aria, it's time for you to sleep. Come on, Get ready"

Aria looked down at her lap, sadly! Her Dad wouldn't say anything. She knew it.

Jin brought her medicines and gave it to her. She swallowed them without fighting with him. Jin then lay her down on her bed, safely tucking her with the blanket, after setting her oxygen machine beside her. He carefully put the mask on her face and then she closed her eyes whispering a good night sweetly. Jin smiled weakly. Aria is angry at him. How can she not?

He wished her a good night and kissed her forehead and left her room.

He went to his balcony in his room and left the breath he was holding since a long time. He cried to himself because he can't do that in front of his daughter, not in front of anyone. What kind of a father he is, who can't even tell his child about his Appa? Well only he knows about it.

He has to stay strong. For his kid. For her happiness and Oh gods, He'd do anything for his precious daughter.

Jin hugged Aria tightly. He thought that he'd lost his world at a moment.

Beside them, in that café, on the same table, there's someone too. He looked at the father-daughter duo and smiled to himself.

He then cleared his throat as of making his presence known. Jin looked at him. That someone extended his hand and shook them with Jin's.

"Hello! I'm Kim V"
