The rest of my day is boring. I took notes in most of my classes and I'm finally in my last class of the day. Econ.

My dad is the teacher and to be honest, I've had enough "father-daughter time" at home. I don't need any more stress.

"So," Coach says slamming the textbook on a desk to wake up a student. I don't even know how they fell asleep, we've been in class for 5 minutes. "In case you haven't noticed, my daughter is a new student." He says pointing to my desk at the back of the room.

"Everyone, treat her nice," Coach says. "Or you'll get an F in my class."

Most people just grunted and looked away. Some people didn't look at all, and a few people made comments under their breaths. "Wow, what an attention seeker"

"Fuck up"

"her dad is the coach and a teacher? How more fuck ups in her life can she handle." I heard the last one and lost it. I slammed the book on my desk and got up.

"Look, I'm much more capable of handling my own life very much. I don't need rude bitches like you noting it out to me." I released my anger at this whore who is looking at me wide-eyed because of my outburst. "I-I didn't e-even say anything," She squeaked.

"Danielle, sit down," Coach ordered. He knew about my anger issues and this wasn't gonna be pretty.

"No, I've had enough. I've been here one day and I've already been thrown into a pit of humiliation and shit. This bitch," I pointed to the girl. "Just crossed the line." I try swinging my arm at her, but Coach caught it.

"DANNY" I hear my dad yell in a commanding voice.

I look at him and then looked at the girl. I shook my arm out of my dad's grasp and left the room. What have I done? This isn't me. I just made the entire class, including Scott and Stiles, witness me almost attack another girl who just said some comment that nobody heard. Now everyone's gonna think I'm crazy.

I throw my notebook into my bag and throw it over my shoulder, running out of the room. "Danielle!" Coach calls. I turn my head and just keep running. I run out to the lacrosse field and hide under the bleachers.

I start breaking down.

All of my emotions I've held up over the summer and the past 2 years just floods out of me like a tidal wave. I'm such a screw-up. I never do anything right. This is why no one likes me.

"Danny?" I hear a male voice call out lightly. Stiles. Did he come looking for me? Maybe my dad sent him. He doesn't care. Yeah, that's it.

I sniffled "Yeah?" I say with the most confidence I could say without breaking down again. "Danny? Are you ok? I was so worried!" He says scrambling to get to me. "Why were you worried? You shouldn't care about me. No one should. I'm too much of a burden on everyone shoulders." I start pouring out again.

"Why shouldn't I be worried? You're my friend!" I nod and just look at my shoes.

"Your dad is worried and so is Scott. Everyone else was kinda shaken up by your sudden outburst." He says looking down at his shoes too.

"I don't know what came over me. I'm sorry." I say tearing up and picking up my bag.

I hear the bell ring and people start coming out of the school. "You should get going," I said to him and start to walk home.

"Do you need a ride? I mean, if you don't have one. You could hang out with me and Scott this afternoon. Only if you wanna." He says kinda stuttering a bit as if he was nervous I would say no.

I hesitate and then accept the offer. "First I gotta call my dad, he's probably freaking out."

"Yeah, of course," Stiles smiles.

I pull out my phone and dial the number.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? ARE YOU OK? ARE YOU IN PAIN? Probably emotional, but ARE YOU OKAY!?" Coach screams through the phone and I pull it away from my ear so I don't go deaf. "Yeah, no pain. I might've lost some hearing in my left ear, but I wanted to call you and say I'm going home with a friend and I'm gonna hang out with them for a while." I say to Coach making sure Stiles isn't in earshot.

"Of course, yeah. It's fine. I just needed to make sure you were ok and also, you didn't take your pills this morning. Is that why the outburst happened?" He asks. Oh, shoot. I forgot to take my meds. "Maybe," I say wiping my eyes tiredly.

"You need to take those every morning! Don't forget next time!" He exclaims. "Ok, ok I won't. I gotta go, bye." I hang up without hearing what he had to say. I nod at Stiles and his face lights up like a fricken firework as he clapped his hands together. Such a dork.

A cute dork.

I follow him to his car where Scott was already waiting. Stiles just nods at him. I climb in the back while the two boys sit up front.

"So where do you guys usually hang out at?" I ask. "My house." Stiles answers while looking at me in the rear view mirror. "Or mine," Scott says hitting Stiles in the arm.

"Ow!" He exclaims and rubs his arm. "Oh come on I didn't hit you that hard," Scott groans. "Yeah, but it still hurt!" Stiles complains

I just chuckle and shake my head. The blue jeep pulls into the drive way of a two story house, and we get out of the car.

Stiles opens the door and heads toward the stairs. "My dad won't be home yet, his shift ends at 7." He says going into his room, Scott and I following behind him.

"What does your dad do?" I ask. "He's the sheriff" he exhales while looking through the books on a shelf, and pulling one out.

I put it back on the shelf and keep looking around. "Are you hungry? I could make us all some food." Stiles asks. "I'm not sure I trust you enough to cook us anything," Scott answers, "I'll just order pizza or something."

Stiles looks at him sideways and accepts it.
