Rhydian Wolfheart arrived at the location of the cocoons and the prisoner, accompanied by Maris Windwalker, Beta of the West, and her two freshly elevated colleagues. Kaelir Thornbrook, chosen to take over the East, was a fierce warrior known for his calm demeanor and sharp strategic mind. His ability to balance diplomacy with decisive action had made him an easy choice for his new position.

And then there was Liora Redclaw, the new Beta of the South—the portion of the forest that bordered the human town of New Avalon. She stood at Rhydian's side, her sharp gaze constantly scanning the area, always vigilant. Born Liora Levy, she had risen higher in the pack than any other werewolf who hadn't been born into it. Years ago, she had wandered too far into the woods on one of her hikes from Titletown, a coastal city south of New Avalon. That journey had changed her life forever.

After surviving the brutal attack that killed her hiking companions and turned her into a werewolf, her survival—even after being covered in blood—earned her the name Redclaw. Liora had ascended the ranks not through brute strength alone, but through her unyielding resilience, discipline, and sense of justice. These values, deeply rooted in her Jewish upbringing, had carried over into her new life as a werewolf. The teachings of perseverance, morality, and respect for life and nature had guided her through the trials that led to her ascension, helping her adapt to the harsh realities of werewolf life without losing herself to the savagery of the curse.

As Rhydian and his Betas approached the cocoons, Liora quickly moved to help Seren Vale, her former mentor, who was beginning to break through the protective shell of her cocoon.

"Oy vey, Beta... I mean Alpha Seren... Are you okay?" Liora cried, working to crack open pieces of the cocoon alongside Seren.

"I'm here to help, yeah? I gotcha! And let's not waste time... We've got a lot ridin' on you comin' outta this cocoon stronger. You wanted to be our new Alpha, right? The pack's gotta see we're not foolin' around... So show me that Alpha strength of yours!"

Liora's voice carried a mixture of encouragement and urgency, her accent blending the rhythm of her Titletown roots with the warmth and resolve of her Jewish upbringing. She cheered on her mentor, eager to see her emerge stronger than ever.

"Redclaw, it's not that it's not good to see your friendly face... but can you stop encouraging me for a minute and help me out? I feel weird!" Seren responded, her voice groggy, as enough of the cocoon shell cracked away. She extended an arm for Liora to pull her out.
