"I am the jungle's eyes."

A pair of slitted eyes slowly made notice in the dark.

"I can see the past and the future."

The snake's scales formed around the eyes, showing the head of a python.

"It is I, Kaa, who witnessed the coming of man...."

The jungle was shown, camera panning to an abandoned temple.

"....and the jungle...trying to survive."

A frog fell off of a leaf.

"I was the one who saw chaos and darkness come to our lands."

The growling of a creature and the screaming of many were heard.

Many ran out into the clearing and scattered in fear of the creature getting to them. A woman with her baby fell but got up quickly and ran in one direction.

The creature leaped out into the small clearing, showing its fur to be the stripes of a tiger. The animal growled and leapt into the bush, dragging out a screaming man before tering into his skin.

"I witnessed the tiger, Shere Khan, killing man and breaking the jungle's ancient law."

A white and orange paw shifted the small shoe aside, making a black snout come down to sniff at it gently.

The crying of a baby was heard in the silence of the jungle. The two creatures walked closely to the trunk where a baby was cradled high.

A snake's long and twisted tail was all over the ground, proving of Kaa's presence but the two didn't acknowledged it.

"And then, one fateful night, I saw the jungle place its hopes into the hands of a small creature, the like of which it had never seen before."

The infant was covered in grime, most likely from the fall or to throw off his scent, either way, the parent was not found and claw marks were on the tree next to the infant's dwelling.

In the face of the two creatures, the baby calmed and opted to play with a fallen leaf, chewing on it.

The black panther gave a small snort but the jaguar hit his head and in the same moment, they heard the ferocious tiger's growl in the distance.

The two looked at each other before facing the infant and the panther opened its jaw.

Kaa, who witnessed everything, slithered along the ground and watched the two walk away with the infant.

After a great deal of walking, the black panther placed him down gently and rushed into the bush while the jaguar was in the tree.

The infant's giggles alerted the pups in the cave who whined when they saw the new creature. This brought the parents of the cubs to arise from their sleep and leap out with a threatening growl, ready for danger.

Only to see the little human baby.

The two adult wolves sat and just stared at the baby.

"How did it get here?" The male inquired.

"I don't know." The female payed no mind to the pup hiding under her.

"Is it hurt?" He looked on to the baby who was just merrily enjoying his time.

She leaned forward and licked at the blood, shaking her head. "There's no wound." She smiled. "It's on its own."

"I've never seen a man-cub before." He commented. "It's so...small."

"It doesn't fear us." She said in wonder.

"What are we going to do with it?" He asked in wonder.

Them they both gave threatening stances, turning to the slope on the hill where a hyena ran down.
