After Santa gave the casting for the new series "Perfect10 Liners" a series produced by the gmmtv company, he walks home with little hope that he will be able to get the main role since gmmtv is a very big company where everyone the actors are top and talented. Some time ago he tried to enter this company by giving several castings, but every time he was refused. now at the insistence of his friend Pond, tried one more time promising himself that if he didn't pass this time, he would give up his dream of an acting career. Although he did not have high expectations for the result, he had a little hope in his heart.
Pond: "How was the casting?"
Santa: "I think it was good, but you know I don't have high hopes. I prefer not to have expectations about this"
Pond: "Santa, don't say that, I'm sure that this time you'll get the role because you're very talented, believe me when I tell you. I have been an actor for a long time and I rarely see people as talented as you. Trust me"
Santa:"Thank you so much phi for all the support.I really wish we could be in the same company"
Pond:"Surely we will be. just wait and see. your talent will not remain undiscovered. and if they don't give you the main role then it's their loss"
Santa smiled subtly, being grateful for every word that Pond said. The two have been friends for a long time and Pond has always been like a big brother to Santa, showing his unconditional support for the little one
Santa:"Oiii Phi you don't have to praise me all the time, it's ok for me whether I get the role or not"
Pond:"Remember everything I say is true Nong. Never underestimate yourself. I know you are working hard to fulfill your dream, so take care of yourself and be more confident in your abilities. Did we understand Santa?"
Santa with a weak voice answered: Yes Phi, I understand" although in his soul he felt that he still could not help being hard on himself
Pond:"I have to hang up now, the filming break is almost over. We'll talk later brother"
Pond is currently filming for the new series "Leap day" alongside Gun Attapahan, Dew Jirawat and a new actress Pahn Pathitta. The series is a project that will probably premiere in 2025, but which requires a lot of work, as it is not a regular series produced by gmmtv.
Santa: "Good luck Phi. They take care of you"
With that, Santa ended the call and went to his apartment. Once he arrived he was exhausted. He was thinking if this time he would get the main role or if he would be refused again and put aside. A part of him still hopes that the child of 10 years ago will finally be able to see that his dream will come true . It is still known that when he was young he worked hard to earn money to save up to go to Bangkok because his parents had no way to support him economically.
While the thoughts did not give Santa peace, he slowly starts closes his eyes and in the end he falls into a deep sleep
A day passes, two days pass, a week passes, 2 weeks and Santa still hasn't received even a word from the company. He thinks that maybe he should stop trying to audition and go back to his parents in the small village.
Santa: There's no point in staying here if I don't take this role. What a burden I am"
Although Santa had given up hope at some point, one morning he gets a call. Little Santa stared at the screen frozen, his heart pounding. His hands were shaking and there were beads of sweat on his forehead. Once he comes back to reality, he musters up the courage and answers the call
Staff:" Santa Pongsapak?"
Santa :"yes I am"
Staff: "we would like to inform you that you have been accepted for the lead role in Perfect10 Liners. Congratulations Santa.We cant wait to to work with you"
At what he heard, Santa couldn't stop himself from smiling so widely and he could barely keep from screaming. After all his work had not been in vain and as Phi Pond had said, his talent was finally noticed.
Santa:"Thank you very much, thank you very much"
How happy the little boy was, for a moment he had forgotten that he would have a partner and suddenly a trace of curiosity crossed his mind.
Santa: "Excuse me for asking but has the actor for Yotha been cast yet?"
Staff:"Ohh yes, he was chosen. It's Perth Tanapon. You probably already know him."
Perth's name started echoing in Santa's head and he began to tense up at what he heard. It's normal that he knew who Perth Tanapon is, he watches a few of his series and he knew how well-known he is as an actor and how much he respects his fans, but also tknow that he is a very cold person, a professional who does not accept mistakes and who keep a distant relationship with all his partners. Oviously he was honored to work with such a great actor, but he realized that things would be much more difficult than he expected.
Santa: "I understood Phi thank you very much"
After closing the call, Santa started to stretch as much as possible, walking from one place to another in the room.
Santa: "I'm done, what am I going to do now?"
