As she opened her eyes, for the second night in Qibli's cave, she felt very warm. She hadn't felt like this in a very long time. She snuggled closer to Qibli. Qibli felt her move and put his wing on her. Moon got up and trodded to the prey center. She ate some meat and later Qibli joined her. Then Winter came in along with Kinkajou. All of a sudden, Winter leaped at Qibli, but he wasn't fast enough. Moon pinned him down screaming, "Winter, why are you doing this!"
Winter started to escape from her hold, but kinkajou bounded over and bared her fangs at him. Winter stopped moving. "HE DOESN'T DESERVE YOU, I DO!" He started shouting. Why had Winter done this? Winter started hissing and Moon realized he was going to use his frostbreath. "No!" Qibli shouted as he jumped in front of Moon to block the frostbreath. Moon gasped. Winter threw Moon to the ground. Just then, Kinkajou splattered venom on his back. Winter roared in agony and threw himself out the window. Moon rushed to Qibli's side to make sure he was alright. He was still breathing. (They are in the library, by the way.)
