a long time ago, there was The Dark Knight, second of the king of the elemental castle.
he and his 2 brothers were tasked with guarding the king's only adopted daughter, the fifth princess
throughout multiple years, The Dark Knight and the princess grew close, very close
while on a scouting mission, the princess had sneaked out of the castle to join The Dark Knight and his squadron
while trying to convince the princess to go back, one of the brothers arrived with an army of hooded individuals
without them being able to react, the squadron was wiped out, the princess taken, and The Dark Knight left wounded, unable to go after his brother and hos associates
he would return to the castle announcing the news to the king, the princess had been taken away, and potentially killed along with his squadron
the king questioned The Dark Knight aggressively as to why he did not do anything to save the princess or his squadron, as to why the princess was even out of the castle
The Dark Knight did not have the answers
due to the strict times he lived in, The Dark Knight was banished, most of his equipment confiscated as he was sent into the forest, and for a long time, he was never seen again
that is, until a note arrived at his camp, requesting his help.
