The Story

In the heart of Sun Flower Valley, where the fire of love and the ice of tenderness intertwined, Mew and Gulf were spending a quiet evening together. The air was cool, but the golden glow of the sunset spilled across the valley, casting a warm light on everything it touched. Haven, standing with the best view of the edge of the valley, was a glass room built strong enough to contain the immense power of the Transparent Tarot and Oracle cards that dwelled within.

The cards hummed with energy, waiting for the Kings to reveal their wisdom. Haven was a sacred place, one that Mew and Gulf often visited to seek guidance. Today, the cards had been calling to them, their glows flickering and shifting through the glass. Mew, ever the protector, had sensed a disturbance earlier, and now, Gulf gently tugged at his sleeve, coaxing him to go inside.

As they stepped inside, the door sealing behind them, Mew's fire warmed the glass walls. Gulf, always sensitive to Mew's moods, could feel the tension vibrating off of him. "You're tense, Phi," Gulf murmured softly, his hand resting on Mew's forearm, the touch enough to calm the flames that crackled just beneath Mew's skin. Gulf's coolness seeped into Mew, and though he didn't say it, Mew was grateful for his presence.

"I've been feeling something off," Mew admitted, his voice low and controlled, but Gulf caught the undercurrent of concern.

As they moved further into Haven, the first card revealed itself—The Nine of Cups—its glow a soft gold that grew darker as they approached. Gulf smiled, his hand brushing the edge of the card, reading it first.

"This is a good one," Gulf said, looking up at Mew. "It's about wishes coming true, emotional fulfillment." He pressed his lips together, a soft smile gracing his face. "It means we're in a place where our love is bringing us both happiness. Our dreams are being realized."

Mew's eyes narrowed slightly as he touched the card, revealing its more hidden side. "Or," Mew countered, "it could mean we're becoming too comfortable. Complacent." His dark eyes met Gulf's. "It warns that we shouldn't take what we have for granted."

Before they could dwell on it too long, Grace, Gulf's sister, stepped closer, observing the card. "Or maybe," she suggested gently, "it's just telling you to stay balanced. Keep enjoying your happiness, but remember that it needs constant care." The golden glow faded as Mew and Gulf absorbed its energy, strengthening their connection, and their bond felt all the more solid because of it.

The next card, The Two of Cups, appeared next, glowing even darker gold—almost amber. Gulf's fingers trailed over the card, his voice soft. "It's us, Phi. A perfect partnership, soulmates." He tilted his head, a teasing smile on his lips. "It means we're meant to be."

Mew's lips twitched into a smirk as his hand hovered over the card, the warm glow still radiating. "Yeah, or it could mean we're so into each other, we're not paying attention to other things we should be." His brow arched. "Maybe I'm too into you," he teased, stepping closer to Gulf, their foreheads almost touching.

"Is that a bad thing?" Gulf whispered, his breath cool against Mew's lips.

A soft voice broke through the moment. It was Jom, Mew's sister, standing near the door with a knowing smile. "Or maybe, once again, it just means being balanced is essential. Don't forget to lean on each other and share the burdens and the responsibilities. Love is about support too, not just romance."
